New here? Signing up just got smoother, with an easier way to add your friends from contacts, a link, or a QR code. Already on Aftrs? We've made a bunch of improvements and fixes across chat, the night feed, push notifications, and status updates.

New: it's now easy to report anything that isn't okay — profiles, chat messages, selfie reactions, night feed photos, all covered. Keeping things friendly is kind of our thing. Chats are smoother, and reacting on a patchy signal is smoother too.

Reactions are here! React to a friend's live status with a tap, yours too if you're feeling it. New: share your status straight to Instagram Stories, from the Me tab or right after you go live. Settings got a little reshuffle, notifications are more reliable, and we've quietly squashed a stack of crashes. Obvs.

Chat is faster and more reliable, with messages landing instantly even on shaky signal. Pinch to zoom on night feed photos to see every detail. New map controls: jump to nearby friends or zoom out to see everyone at once. Smoother avatars, a snappier map camera, and a bunch of bugs fixed.

Pinch to zoom right in on night feed photos — perfect for spotting who's lurking in the background. The People page Add button now wears a little badge, showing exactly how many of your contacts are ready to add. Profile photos load in smoother too. More zoom. More people. Smoother everything.

Introducing Partycast! When you’re partying with friends, a group chat now starts itself. Friends just appear as they join the party, disappear when they leave, and when the party ends, the chat disappears too. No group admin. No adding everyone. Just the people you’re actually partying with.

Sometimes the chat moves faster than your brain. You can now reply directly to a specific message, so everyone knows exactly which bad idea you’re encouraging. We’ve also made it easier to find more of your people from the map, and given message menus a cleaner new look. More context. More friends. Fewer “what are you replying to?” messages.

Sometimes typing is just a bit too hard. So we’ve added message reactions! No need to find the words when your brain isn't at full capacity. You can also now see your friends’ photos right on the map, giving you a better idea of the vibe before you decide where to head next. More reactions. More vibes on the map. More chaos. In a good way.

Big update for going live. It’s now much easier to share your party situation with just your inner circle. When you’re partying, you can also add a photo and a note so your friends can see what the move is. Keep your people in the loop. Keep everyone else out of it.

Big little update for the weekend. You can now see friends in common on profile pages. Aftrs Codes have had a serious glow-up too. Share yours and get your whole crew on Aftrs. We’ve also polished loads across the app, so everything feels smoother, sharper and much more ready for a messy night out. Go on then. See who’s out this weekend.
