Fixes the keyboard covering Save when adding a note on smaller iPhones.

Notes. Rate a place and add a line for yourself: "ask for Sandra", "tables too close, great plates." Private by default; flip it to Shared and your friends see it under your rating. Still friends-only. Also in 2.3 - New icon - Health inspection results for Chicago (Pass / Pass w/ conditions / Fail), alongside NYC's letter grades - Breakfast is its own category now, separate from Brunch - Faster cold start; new places appear without reinstalling - No more notification prompt at launch; SPOT asks when it matters - Cleaner place sheet: two-line addresses, tidier badges

Search everywhere now finds the place you mean, anywhere in the world. Also in 2.2.1 - Around Me has a proper header with your avatar, and never hides you under a pin - Explore cities grouped by region (US · Europe · Asia) with a Request a city button - Sign-up asks for your name, so friends see "Marco" instead of an email - Search tells you when a place isn't in SPOT yet and offers to add it - In-app notice when a new version is available

NEW Feature "Around Me" —> one button calls up a map of every SPOT near you right now. Tap a category, tap a pin, get walking, driving or transit directions. Enjoy! Also in 2.2 - New home screen header: see at a glance who's out and whether friends can see you - Green rings on friends' lists now show what you've already visited - Clearer sign-up messages

Transit directions. Tap a spot and see how long it takes by subway or bus, right next to walking and driving. One tap opens the full route in Maps. It works anywhere your maps app has transit, from New York to Naples.

SPOT now opens on the city you're in. Land in London and it's London. No picking, no settings. - Explore any city by tapping its name, then hop back with one tap - Search now looks inside the lists you follow - Friend requests show how many friends you have in common - A shorter welcome, and clearer messages when location is off - Fixed: some people couldn't edit or delete their own lists

Search fixes: one tap to pick a place, and "search everywhere" works the first time. Thanks, Michael.

Your visited spots stay visited — the green check now syncs across reinstalls and new phones, and anything you've rated counts as visited. Faster launch. Your lists appear instantly. Also: adding a spot now files it under the right city, and health grades, hours, and Reserve buttons arrive within a minute of saving.

Live friends. When a friend is out, their pin now moves on your map in near real time so you can all meet up! Hours. Every spot now shows whether it's open, when it closes, and the full week — straight from Google. Friend requests are simpler: Accept, or quietly "Not now." Also: NYC DOH Health Grades and Reserve buttons now appear on spots you've added yourself.

Search. Type a name and SPOT finds it — on your lists, in the curated catalog (and tells you which category it's filed under), or anywhere in the world if we don't have it yet. Results are sorted by how close they are to you. Explore is now search-first, and the header got out of the way. Also: Singapore and the North Fork join the map.

Redesigned maps. A cleaner header on every map, and when a friend is out, tap a spot near them and hit "Meet here?" to send them a text in one tap. Friends can now view your lists, collaborators show on the lists you own, and more.

Improved notifications for new accounts, plus a collaborators panel on your lists — see who you've invited and who's joined. Follow us on Instagram from your Profile.
