What's new in Birthday+ • Wish them in two steps: pick a ready-made message in three tones (Simple, Warm or Formal) or write your own, then send it with the app you use: Messages, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, Snapchat, LINE, Viber, KakaoTalk… It works even without a phone number. • Milestone birthdays: the ages that matter where you live are flagged in your list, and the reminder leaves time to plan the party or a group gift. • Name days: each loved one's name day, found from their first name (France, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Greece, Latvia). Reminder on the day with Premium. • Other calendars: a birthday can follow the Korean or Chinese lunar calendar or the Hijri calendar. Birthday+ works out this year's date everywhere: list, calendar, widgets, Apple Watch. • Birthday+ now speaks 26 languages, with 15 new ones, including Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Polish, Greek and Ukrainian. • My subscription: see your plan in Profile, and switch to yearly or lifetime in a tap. • Adding a birthday: the name field is now easier to spot. Fixed: after the clocks went back, the countdown and widgets could show one day too many. Thank you for using Birthday+!

New: in Profile › Notifications, choose whether you want to hear about my offers and news. Your birthday reminders stay exactly the same. Getting set up is now simpler and clearer at the end. Plus a few improvements to keep everything running smoothly.

New: on the big day, send the birthday card as an image, with the background you picked. Discovering Premium is now simpler: everything fits on one screen, the 7-day free trial is explained day by day, and I’ll remind you before it ends. Plans are clearer, with the price shown per month. Plus a few improvements to keep everything running smoothly.

Bobby is getting ready for Halloween! From October 24 to November 3, he puts on his witch hat, the birthday celebration turns to pumpkins and bats, and a "Halloween" card background is free for everyone. On the big day, Bobby also replaces the cake in the widget. Prefer the app as usual? Turn the decor off in Profile. Plus a few improvements.

New phone, using an iPad or reinstalling the app? Birthday+ now recognizes you: it offers to bring back your account in one tap, with your Premium and all your birthdays, on every device. The welcome screens are also more spacious. Plus a few improvements to keep everything running smoothly.

Bobby has a new way to welcome you! Getting started with Birthday+ is now a little game: Bobby asks his questions in a speech bubble and you answer by tapping big cards. Adding your first person, picking their date and choosing when you get reminders takes just a few seconds. The Premium screen has been redesigned too: clearer, it shows what each plan unlocks, right when it matters. Plus a few improvements to keep everything running smoothly.

Importing your contacts has been redesigned. Before asking for access, Birthday+ explains what it does: only birthdays matter, you choose who to add, and nothing is shared. A gauge shows your remaining free spots as you go. And if you'd rather not give access, no problem: you just carry on without it.

Is your birthday book full? You can now fill in the entry all the way: upgrade to Premium and it saves itself, no retyping needed. A new screen also shows where your free book stands. Fix: the free limit shown is now the right one.

Meet Bobby! • Say hello to Bobby, the Birthday+ mascot: Bobby welcomes you, shows you around, and gives the app its new icon. • Share a gift list: your ideas for someone close, or your own wishlist, via Messages or WhatsApp. It opens in the browser, no app needed. • A time zone on every card: see what time it is for loved ones abroad, and get a reminder set to their time (Premium). • Two birthdays on the same day? Widgets and the Lock Screen now show them together. • On your own birthday, Birthday+ wishes you a happy birthday. • Swipe between tabs. • A completely redesigned welcome. • "I have a code" on the Premium screen, to redeem an offer code. Also: you no longer get reminders from an account you've signed out of, plus a few fixes. Thanks for using Birthday+!

Big news. • The widget takes on the card's background, counts the days and celebrates on the day: cake, garland, confetti and balloons. Choose what it shows: the next birthday, a tag or one person. • The big day on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island: the countdown, a message or a call, without opening the app. • An animated background for everyone you love: from lanterns to fireworks, from the football pitch to happy hour. • A phone number on the card: send a message or call, from the card, the birthday popup or the Lock Screen. • A brand-new birthday popup, and the card celebrates on the day. • Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight: "Hey Siri, ask Birthday+ when Sophie's birthday is". Plus two buttons in Control Center. • The icon matches your Home Screen: light, dark or tinted. • A welcome that shows the app as it really is. Also: a card can have just a nickname, an "Added" stamp replaces the alert, tapping the widget now opens the app properly, and a few fixes. Thanks for using Birthday+!

Save your list whenever you're ready. • A step-by-step guide to add the widget to your Home Screen. • Stability improvements and various fixes. Thanks for using Birthday+!

Birthday+ speaks Arabic, and offline mode keeps its promise: • Birthday+ is now available in Arabic — the app, the widget, reminders and emails. Pick the language from your profile, or let your phone decide. • Offline mode fixed: your birthdays and the widget stay visible without a connection, on a plane or off the grid. • Stability improvements and various fixes. Thanks for using Birthday+!

Contact import rebuilt, tags you can finally delete, and reminders that speak your language: • Importing from your contacts is now a full screen: progress shows while they're added, your contacts' photos come along, and on iOS 18 you can share more of them without going through Settings. • You can finally delete a tag, from the very sheet where you pick it. Your birthdays are kept: they simply lose their tag. • If notifications were never turned on, Birthday+ offers again — without them, no reminder could ever arrive. • Emails and reminders now arrive in German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Italian, on top of the four languages already covered. • Birthdays without a birth year are finally explained: a message before importing, a note on the entry, and a year wheel that locks instead of showing a year that isn't one. • A new welcome flow: it starts with someone who matters to you and shows you the reminder waiting ahead. • Various fixes, including birthdays that became impossible to find by filter after a tag was deleted, and a possible freeze when opening the subscription from the import. Thanks for using Birthday+!

Contact import rebuilt, and reminders you no longer forget to turn on: • Importing from your contacts is now a full screen: progress shows while they're added, and your contacts' photos come along. • If notifications were never turned on, Birthday+ offers again — without them, no reminder could ever arrive. • On iOS 18, when you share only some of your contacts, Birthday+ offers to add more instead of settling for that handful. • Birthdays without a birth year are finally explained: a message before importing, and a note on the entry saying the year is missing to show the age. • The year wheel locks when the year is unknown, instead of showing a year that isn't one. • Better quality for imported photos, and refined buttons in the sheets. • Various fixes, including a possible freeze when opening the subscription from the import. Thanks for using Birthday+!

Six new languages, and birthdays without a birth year: • Birthday+ now speaks six more languages: German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Italian — widget included. • A new reminder the day before the birthday, alongside those at 30, 15 and 7 days and on the day itself. • You can now import contacts whose birthday has no year: their age stays hidden. • Labels are now optional, and a "No label" filter finds the entries without one. • The person's photo now appears in the celebration window. • Various fixes. Thanks for using Birthday+!

Your photos come to the widget, and sharing is fixed: • Your birthday photos now appear in the widget, on your home screen and lock screen alike. • The Share button works again — it used to do nothing. • The shared message now says how many days are left, and lets your friends discover Birthday+. • Settings: importing from your contacts now comes first, and the import and export labels are clearer. • Various fixes. Thanks for using Birthday+!
