LOOKING TO UPLOAD TIMES?
Are you a swimming club/school looking to upload times to Immerse Results? Visit Immerse Timing to find out how to do that.
more What's New
- Enter your own seed times
On meets that allow it, you can now type a seed time for each event you enter, in short course or long course, and pick which of your past swims it should match. Reset puts the server's best available time back. Meets that set seeds themselves stay read-only.
- Immerse Results in your language
The app now speaks Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Dutch, as well as English. It follows your device language.
- Who are you entering?
If you can register more than one swimmer, Event Registration now asks who you are entering before the form opens, with You first and each of your swimmers alongside. You can also switch swimmer from the dropdown in the form at any time.
- Clearer locked details
When a swimmer's profile is linked to their meet results, the name, sex and date of birth that come from those results are shown locked, so you can see exactly which details follow the official record.
- Birthdays start blank
Date of birth fields no longer open pre-filled with today's date. You choose the date, and until you do nothing is saved.
Improvements
- Safer sign-in and links
Credentials are redacted from the app's logs, requests are tied to the session that started them, and email verification and password reset links are only acted on for the account you are signed in to.
- Stricter link handling
Links that open the app are checked for the right host and shape before they go anywhere, and anything that does not match opens in your browser instead.
- Finish Setup keeps official names
When your profile is linked to results, Finish Setup keeps the legal name from those results and lets you set a preferred name instead.
- Registration review
The legal and policy links on the registration review screen open only on myswim.live.
0.8.1 Oct 16
What's New
- Explore your splits your way
Result Details can now group your swim into 25m, 50m, 100m or 200m splits when available. Individual medley and medley relay swims can also be viewed by stroke, with clearer sections for each stroke or relay leg.
- Take the performance chart full-screen
Tap expand to view your performance chart full-screen in landscape. Your selected split view stays in place when you close it, and the app returns to its previous orientation.
- Clearer Event Results
Event Results has a redesigned header with clearer event, course, schedule, location and status information. When a meet provides heat-specific start times, selecting a heat now shows its actual scheduled time.
- Open sponsor links
Sponsor banners can now link directly to the organiser's website when one is provided.
- Protected meets are easier to open
If a meet requires a password, you'll now be asked for it wherever you enter that meet, including from an athlete's past meets, Event Registration and the Meets tab. Once unlocked, the app returns you to the screen you were trying to open.
- Contact the meet organiser
When an organiser provides a contact email, Meet Details now includes a Contact option. Tap it to open your mail app, or use Copy and Share from the long-press menu.
Improvements
- More private athlete links
Public athlete pages and profile images now prefer privacy-safe public IDs instead of identifiers that can contain athlete information. Privacy-masked swimmers are also handled more safely throughout search and favourites.
- Seed times now follow the meet's rules
Seed times, courses and their source are now determined by the server using the meet's eligibility rules. You can still see the comparable swim being used, but seed times can no longer be manually changed in the app.
- Better medley and missing-split handling
Medley swims are sectioned more clearly, and missing splits no longer create false zero splits or break later calculated splits.
- More accurate event status
Events now show Results, In Progress or Seeded using the meet's actual status instead of inferring it from whether results are available.
- Pending registrations are clearer
Registrations that are still waiting to be completed are now labelled Pending.
0.7.9 Aug 27
What's New
- Seed times fill themselves in
When you select an event, your seed time is pre-filled from your best comparable swim: same stroke and distance, in a course the meet accepts, and within the meet's eligibility window. The form tells you which meet the time came from. Type your own time and yours is used; clear it and it stays cleared.
- Choose which swim to use
If more than one of your swims qualifies, tap the source to see them all, with time, course, meet and date, and pick the one you want. Switching between Short course and Long course jumps to your best swim in that course.
- Redesigned seed time entry
Tap the minutes, seconds or hundredths to type a time, and see at a glance which event and course you are entering. Seed times now always carry their course, and clearing the fields no longer rejects your whole registration.
- Registration numbers that match your meet
The registration number is only required when the meet requires one. Club and school numbers are kept separately, the form asks for the one the meet wants, and you can save it back to your profile for next time. School years now run from Prep to Year 12.
- Keep your name private on entry lists
You can ask the organiser to show your surname as an initial on public entry lists when you register.
- Enter a meet as Other
Other is now available when registering, alongside Male and Female. Because most events are entered as Male or Female, choosing Other means mixed events only, and the form now says so.
Improvements
- Date of birth is never guessed
A swimmer with no date of birth on file is now asked for one, instead of the app quietly using today's date or an invented one. This applies to registration, Personal Details and the athlete claim form, and switching between your children no longer carries one child's date of birth onto the next.
- Register button only when entries are open
Meets that are not taking online entries now say so, instead of showing a Register button that would always fail.
- Swimmers without an ID
Swimmers whose records carry no athlete ID now open their own meet-scoped screen instead of a dead end.
- New default meet icon
Meets without their own artwork show the new default icon, and the placeholder is no longer cropped.
- Review screen accuracy
The registration review screen now shows the sex you actually selected.
0.7.8 Aug 25
What’s New
- Request refunds in the app
Eligible meet entries can now be refunded directly from your registration. See each event’s fee, seed time and refund eligibility, then follow the new guided refund flow. Registrations also now correctly distinguish between refunded and rejected entries.
- Redesigned Meet Overview
Meet pages are cleaner and easier to scan, with the important details up front and everything else available in a new Meet Details sheet. You’ll also see pool course, improved meet artwork, clearer sanctioning information and session-specific course details for mixed-course meets.
- Protected meets now work everywhere
Once you unlock a password-protected meet, access is securely remembered on your device. Swims from unlocked meets now appear in personal bests, progression, Goals, widgets and Live Activities where appropriate.
- More accurate registrations
Registrations now correctly handle multiple athletes entered in the same meet, so families with more than one swimmer will see separate entries with the right names, events and payments.
Improvements
- Heat and lane in results
Multi-heat results now show both the heat and lane, making it easier to identify exactly where each swim took place.
- More accurate meet status
Meet status is now consistent throughout the app, including athlete history and registrations. The misleading “Entries open” status has also been replaced with the more accurate “Unseeded”.
- More meets as you scroll
Past and Upcoming Meets now load additional pages automatically, instead of stopping after the first 20.
- Better pull-to-refresh
Refreshing the Meets tab now updates personalised meet rows too, with fixes for switching between athletes during a refresh.
- Better Live Activities
Live Activities now end cleanly when access to a protected meet changes or when updates have been unavailable for an extended period, instead of leaving an outdated race on your Lock Screen.
- Improved privacy for protected meets
Protected meet responses are no longer stored in the app’s on-device network cache, and saved meet access is cleared when you sign out.
0.7.7 Aug 11
What’s New
- PB progression on every athlete profile
See how an athlete’s personal bests have improved over time. Each event now shows their current PB, time drops and new-event milestones. Tap to view the full progression chart, every PB-breaking swim and the complete swim history.
- Redesigned Past Meets
Athlete profiles now open with their three most recent meets, complete with meet artwork. Tap “Show all” to browse the full history. Everything previously found under Meet Results now lives in Past Meets and PB Progression.
- Browse without signing in
Athlete profiles, past meets, results and PB progression can now be viewed without an account. Claimed athlete profiles remain private to their owners.
- Unlocked meets stay unlocked
Once you enter the password for a protected meet, its swims will automatically appear in athlete progression and statistics on future visits. Access is remembered securely on your device.
Improvements
- Club crests for relay results
Relay teams now show their club crest in event results and result details. Teams without an uploaded logo will continue to use the existing placeholder.
- Clearer handicap event results
Upcoming lanes now correctly show their handicap status, completed swims retain their adjusted official times, and disqualification codes are displayed more clearly.
- More reliable sign-in
Improved session handling helps prevent unexpected sign-outs and ensures signing out always leaves the app fully signed out.
- No more Goals loading loop
Goals now recovers automatically when an outdated athlete selection is detected instead of repeatedly loading.
- Better support for athletes in older meets
Athletes in meets published without an athlete ID can now be opened using their meet-specific athlete number. Entries that cannot be opened are shown as plain text instead of broken links.
- Athlete favouriting fix
A server-side fix restores athlete favouriting for users already running version 0.7.4.
0.7.5 Jul 29
What's New

Sessions now collapse by default on multi-session meets, so you can see the whole meet at a glance and tap any session to open it.
- Jump to the latest result
In-progress meets now have a one-tap shortcut that takes you straight to where the meet is up to.
- Follow meets live without signing in
You can now follow a meet live without needing an account.
Improvements
- More reliable live updates
The meet you're watching stays current more consistently, recovering on its own after the app has been in the background or the connection briefly drops.
- Steadier Live Activities
Live Activities on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island no longer disappear when you switch events, and they update as soon as new results come in.
- Shared-device privacy
Signing out now fully clears your data, so the next person to sign in only ever sees their own results and profile.
