FAMILY ACCOUNTS
If you manage riders in your family, your account now does everything a
rider account does. My Horses shows your family's horses — even if you
own none yourself — with the whole family's list on one printout. Your
profile reads Family Account instead of Rider. And Payments → Receipts
now lists everything your account has paid, grouped by the family member
each payment was for, with a PDF you can save or print.
CREDITS
Payments → Credits shows any credit the club is holding for you: a class
taken off a bill you'd already paid, or prize money larger than your
balance. It shows the amount, which show it came from, and why. A family
account sees a credit for every rider joined to it. The show office
applies credits when you check out.
MEMBERSHIPS
Membership dates are clearer and more accurate. A free account no longer
shows a membership end date, and a membership you buy runs from the day
you buy it for exactly the term you paid for. Renewing early still keeps
every day you've already paid for.
HORSES AND RECORDS
A horse's record page now shows the same owner name as the horse list —
both read your current details. Searching Show Records by horse name,
owner name or UDJC number works the same everywhere.
FOR SHOW STAFF AND JUDGES
The judge's schedule and dashboard now leave out warm-ups, clinics and
schooling rounds, which aren't scored — so the ring counts match the
list they open. At the checkout window, staff can search an account by
horse name as well as entry number, sort open accounts by highest
balance, add a fee to a specific horse on a multi-horse bill, and see
any credits on the account. Scratched classes no longer appear on the
office's check-in list.
1.2.287 11h ago
Entering a show
• Choose your own stabling: the stabling step opens with no stall selected, and the fees step confirms your choices before you continue.
• Shavings minimums follow the show office's rule for that show.
• Ordering more shavings or hay adds to your existing line.
• Fees added by the show office stay on your bill when you add classes.
• Deleting a horse shows what it has on record — rides, shows, open bills, membership — before you confirm.
Show schedule
• A class stays on the day the office scheduled it, even when the day runs past midnight.
• Office: press and hold a class to move it to another day.
• Start times and show dates follow the venue's time zone on every device.
Accounts
• If the club already has a record under your name, sign-up lets you know and links it to your account once the office confirms.
• Password reset links go to your sign-in email address.
• Rider and horse ages are calculated from the date on file, consistently on every device.
Show office and judges
• Entry Check-in shows loading progress and marks each horse as a new entry or added classes.
• The bill check can apply corrections, and you can dismiss findings.
• The stall sheet includes each rider's trainer and stall request.
• Judges: hunter classes always ask the judge; the previous-day lock follows the show's local midnight.
Improvements
• Horse Marketplace layout on smaller screens.
• Live Results counts only shows happening today.
• The in-app helper keeps your conversation.

What's New
Judging
• Arrows to move straight to the next or previous class, instead of going back to the list.
• Add a rider to the class you are judging, or change the horse or rider on an entry, without asking the office.
• Place a tie. Two riders can share a place; the prize money and points for the places they take are shared equally, and the next rider takes the place after.
• Set a rider aside by hand, so they are judged without taking a place.
• Scores in dressage and ability classes round to one decimal, the way the paper sheet does.
Bills and fees
• Scratching or removing a class now takes its fee off a bill that has not been paid. A paid bill is never rewritten; the money becomes a credit toward the rider's next show.
• Your stall and fees go on your bill as soon as you choose them, rather than at the end.
• Trailer-in is charged for each day you have classes.
• A show's medic fee is added automatically, like the office fee.
• Card payments taken by the show office now reach the organiser's own account.
Entering shows
• Enter a horse owned by someone in your family group directly, with no approval step.
• A new member is told their account is still being set up, instead of seeing an empty one.
For the show office
• Export a show's email list from the Entries screen.
• Notify members when a new show opens for entries.
• Financial Reports are available to show admins for their own shows.
• The office can override the horse age rule for a class, with a record of who did it.
Accounts
• If your account runs shows and also carries your riding, you can now set up a separate riding account from your profile and choose the email yourself.
• The performance level tracker shows both jumping and dressage progress toward the same promotion.
1.2.275 6d ago
What's New
Entering shows
• Class lists now show correctly for every member, whatever time zone you are in. The entry wizard runs on the venue's clock, like the rest of the schedule.
• The Shows screen opens without freezing, even with several 500-class shows on the calendar.
• Your date of birth is now a full date, so adult and youth status is right on show day.
Family Group
• Parents can switch into a child's account to see their horses, entries, bills and Championship Tracker exactly as the child sees them, with a banner to return.
• Adding a child to your family now asks for approval from the child, or from the parent already on file.
• Guest accounts can use Family Group. A parent who does not ride can still manage their rider.
Judging
• Judges can fill in a missing score or place an unplaced class from a previous show day.
• The scoring sheet and the placings screen show each rider's head number.
• The Judge tab lists classes in order, day by day.
Show office
• Checkout shows a rider's saved card again, and on the web no longer offers the office's own card.
• Adding a rider to a class from Show Schedule works again.
• Show Explorer search matches a trainer's name, and Rider Info lists every rider on a horse.
• Clinics default to 60 minutes on a new show's schedule, and a custom fee amount can be typed.
Security
• New passwords need at least 8 characters with a letter and a number. Existing passwords keep working until you change them.
1.2.273 Oct 20
• Shows now start and end on the venue's clock. If you're in a different time zone from a show, it no longer reads as ended while it's still running.
• Parents and guardians: a linked family member's record now shows their Championship Tracker, just as they see it on their own device.
• Trainers: a ride you scratched after reassigning the rider no longer appears as still assigned on your Show Dashboard.
• If you're both a rider and a trainer, your Profile now shows the trainer you're linked to as well as your own barn.
• A class the show office takes off the schedule now stays hidden everywhere, including the Discover class list.
• Show office: when two owners are on file for a horse, you can confirm the right one in Manage Horses, with a record of who confirmed it. The horse list also scrolls and searches by UDJC number again.
• A membership number can belong to only one member or one horse. The app now refuses a duplicate and tells you who already holds it.
1.2.270 Oct 19
Setting up an account is clearer, and families can get started in one go.
• SIGNING UP FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Creating an account now begins by asking
whether you are signing yourself up or setting up a rider you are
responsible for. Choose a rider and you are listed as their parent or
guardian, so you can enter them in shows and pay for their entries from
your own account. They need no email address and no login of their own.
• EACH RIDER KEEPS THEIR OWN RECORD. If you set up more than one rider,
each keeps their own membership, their own results and their own progress.
• ALREADY SHOWN WITH THE CLUB? Sign-up now asks for your club membership
number, so your existing membership, horses and show results are linked
to the account you are creating instead of starting a second, empty one.
• FINDING YOUR HORSES. If your horse list looks short or empty, the
screen now explains why and what to do, instead of only offering to add
a horse.
• SHOW RECORDS STAY WITH THE HORSE. When a horse changes owner, its show
history moves with it, so the new owner sees the full record straight away.
• ENTRY FEES AND TOTALS. Entry fees are applied consistently however an
entry was created, and the show office's dashboard now counts entries the
same way the rest of the app does.
1.2.266 Oct 18
Here's the What's New in This Version block:
• Pay the $50 sale-listing fee with the card you already saved for show
entries — or type a different one.
• Your horses now keep a record of who has owned them, so a horse's
history stays with it when it changes hands.
• Confirm your date of birth on the Membership screen. The full date
decides Junior or Adult pricing and which championship age group you
are in, and many members' records only ever had the year.
• A horse you own now appears once in My Horses.
• Adding a family member is easier — the keyboard no longer covers the
box where you type their member number.
• Fixes and improvements for the show office.
1.2.265 Oct 16
Welcome to the latest update to the UDJC Show Manager app. Here's what's new for you and your club.
• SHOW DAYS AND TIMES FOLLOW THE VENUE, WHEREVER YOU ARE. Every schedule, class list, entry screen and live board shows each show's days and times on the venue's own clock, taken from the state the show is in. A 9:30 AM class in Pinellas Park
reads 9:30 AM whether you open it in Florida or Texas.
• YOUR TRAINER NETWORK'S HORSES ARE YOURS TO ENTER. When you enter yourself in a show, Register Your Horses lists your own horses and then every horse in your trainer network, your trainer's own and your barn-mates', and you can pick any of
them right away.
• ANY UDJC HORSE CAN BE CHOSEN FROM THE CLUB-WIDE SEARCH. Picking a horse from "Looking for another owner's horse?" registers it for the show and carries on to its fees and classes. The owner approves before the class starts.
• CLASS TIMES CAN STAY WITH THE OFFICE UNTIL THE SCHEDULE IS SET. Show Schedule has a new switch, Times published to riders. While it is off, riders and trainers see each class's day and its place in the running order with "Time to be
announced" in place of a clock time.
• A SAVED MARK ON SHOW SCHEDULE. Each start time or duration you confirm is saved at once, and a green Saved mark shows in the header to say so.
• MY REPORTS. More, then My Reports, lists every report, idea and question you have sent, with where it stands and the office's replies, and you can answer the office right there. A reply notification has an Open in My Reports button.
• A HORSE NEEDS A MEMBERSHIP BEFORE IT GOES ON A SHOW. Tapping a horse in the entry steps registers it on the spot, and a horse without a club membership shows a Set up now button. An expired horse membership is a reminder, the same as for
riders.
• Plus polish throughout: the show office can take a horse off a show in one step, and smoother navigation across the app.
1.2.262 Oct 14
We're excited to share new features and improvements to help you manage your show and track your progress more smoothly.
• EDIT SHOW NOW PRESERVES CLASSES AND ENTRIES. Updating a show keeps every class, its entries and its times intact, even if the ring layout changes. Classes that move are placed in their new slots, and only new classes are added when needed.
• TIED SCORES SHARE THE PLACE. Riders on the same score now share a placing and the next place is skipped. Each tied rider receives the full points for that place, and the prize money of the places covered is pooled and split equally.
• NEW HUNTER CLASSES USE HUNTER JUDGING STANDARDS. The 2'0" and 2'3" hunters now use the hunter judging cards, including Under Saddle, Rideability, Quality, and Handy marks.
• DRESSAGE PROMOTION LINES NOW MATCH CLUB RULES. Dressage levels promote based on scores from the club's Dressage Path of Education, with three ways to move up from each level.
• DRESSAGE LEVELS PROMOTE AUTOMATICALLY FROM YOUR SCORES. Your dressage level now moves up when you meet promotion lines based on your scores, and the Dressage card shows your progress in real time.
• PLUS POLISH THROUGHOUT: Improved clarity in score tracking, smoother navigation, and more consistent behavior when managing shows and classes.
1.2.258 Oct 12
Notifications: the app now asks for permission when you first sign in, so
invoices, replies and show notices reach your phone.
• Hunter classes are ordered by fence height, lowest first.
• Email addresses are no longer case-sensitive when you sign up or sign in.
• When entering several classes, the review list keeps the day-and-time order
you picked from.
1.2.252 Oct 9
Signing up to run a barn. Choose Trainer and use the email you already ride under — one account covers both, and you switch between Barn and Rider under More. The form used to tell you to use a second email address, which only created duplicate accounts.
For the office: changing a member's role to Trainer in Manage Users now asks for their barn name and creates the barn at the same time, so they land in a working barn.
1.2.248 Oct 6
What's New
- Back button now reliably returns to where you came from when navigating between different sections of the app
- Report form now opens with an empty message box — no more text to clear before describing your issue
- Fixed web form pop-ups that weren't responding to selections
- Fixed "Unknown Rider" display in Show Explorer
- Show scheduling, family group invitations, fee overviews, and results import all improved
1.2.246 Oct 3
Trainers can now enter a client on any of the barn's horses. You can
search every UDJC horse when you sign up — the entry goes in right
away and the owner approves before the class starts. "Children You
Manage" is now your Family Group, and it works for adults too.
1.2.245 Oct 2
Fixes for trainer and rider connections: accepting a rider's request now
updates your client list and barn right away, your own requests show as
pending rather than as invitations, horse photos appear on the trainer's
horses list, and the waiver signature pad no longer moves while you sign.
1.2.242 Oct 1
A big update for riders, trainers and the show office.
• NEW LOOK. Riders and trainers now have a bottom bar — Home, Horses, Shows and More — and every screen is on the UDJC colours and
typeface. Horses are photo cards, and show cards carry a picture matched to the show type.
• ENTERING A SHOW, ONE HORSE AT A TIME. Pick a horse, set its fees and classes, confirm, then "Add another horse". Each horse's fees
show on the bill under its name, and you can see a show's fees before entering.
• SIGN THE PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT IN THE APP, once a year, right in the entry flow, with a copy emailed to you.
• ONE ACCOUNT, TWO VIEWS. Riders who also train can add a trainer profile and switch between Rider and Barn views under More.
• TRAINERS. Add a client with a labelled button and see your barn's Day Schedule for any show — every ride from the barn in time order.
• LIVE TICKER. Start lists before a class runs, progress like "3 of 21 judged", search by rider or horse, and age, breed and sex on
every row.
• SHOW RECORDS FOR EVERYONE. Search every horse in the club by name, owner or UDJC number, browse by show, and see your own horses'
records.
• CHAMPIONSHIP TRACKER. September shows count toward qualification, and young-horse qualification shows on your tracker.
• Plus many fixes and polish throughout, including easier-to-read text and smoother navigation.
1.2.238 Sep 30
Email notifications now arrive reliably. Password links, club invitations and
receipts are delivered promptly and clearly identified as coming from UDJC.
Trainers can see every invitation they have sent, along with its status, and
send a reminder if one has gone unanswered.
Barn tools: every horse in your barn now appears on the fees screen, horses you
add for a client appear in your barn immediately, you can see the block of
stalls assigned to you at a show, and tapping a class opens its results or its
order of go.
Riders: your points tracker now shows every requirement for moving up a level,
so it is clear what is still needed. If your horse already has a UDJC number you
can enter it directly rather than registering the horse again.
Show office: a new activity log shows which notifications have been sent, and
the override queue shows how many rounds a judge has already reviewed.
Sign-up now asks what kind of account you need, and uses the name you enter.
Various fixes to horse records, barn membership and account details.
1.2.227 Sep 8
YOUR SHOW RECORD SHOWS YOUR FULL HISTORY
If you joined UDJC with results already on file, your Show Record could
come up empty. Your trips were always saved — the app just couldn't tell
they were yours. That's fixed, and results from before you joined now
appear alongside the shows you entered in the app. Nothing for you to do.
ONE RIDER, ONE RECORD
Some riders appeared twice in the show records. There was only ever one
of them, and their results are now gathered in one place.
CHOOSE THE APP YOU NEED
Creating an account now starts with a simple choice — Guest, Rider or
Barn. Guests get a stripped-back version for following the shows: the
schedule, live results, show records and horses for sale, without the
entry forms and paperwork they'll never use. Ideal for family coming to
watch.
YOUR NAME, THE WAY YOU WRITE IT
Club records store names surname-first, so many members saw their name
backwards. Names now read the right way round, and the name you enter
when you sign up is the one that sticks. You can edit it any time under
Profile.
EMAIL THAT ARRIVES
Password resets and membership receipts now reach your inbox instead of
the spam folder. If you never got your password-setup link, this was why.
1.2.224 Sep 7
Search Show Records by a horse's UDJC number — including the
older number a horse used to compete under. Searching by
number now finds the right horse.
New members and horses are issued a proper UDJC membership
number when their membership is confirmed.
A show that's been closed no longer shows as still taking
entries.
The Marketplace opens faster.
1.2.219 Sep 4
Faster member and horse management — the admin screens that
list riders and horses now open quickly no matter how large
the club gets.
Fixed: staff signing in now land on their own dashboard
instead of the rider view.
Fixed: "Set Password" in Manage Users now actually sets the
password.
Search by an older UDJC number and still find the right
horse or rider.
Refreshed Sign In screen, clearer show schedules and live
results, and a number of fixes across entries, billing and
the barn tools.
1.2.218 Sep 3
