What's new in SafeHer 1.3
• SafeZone opening hours
You can now see whether a SafeZone is open or closed, and until when. During an SOS, SafeHer picks a SafeZone that will be open when you arrive. If there is no open SafeZone nearby, you'll see that right away and can still navigate to a closed one.
• A new look
SafeHer has a new dark style in its own colours: calm navy with gold. The map is dark too. The SOS button stays red, so you can always find it at a glance.
• A stronger SOS alarm
The alarm is louder and lasts longer. On iPhone, an SOS now also breaks through Focus and Do Not Disturb. The alarm sound now only plays when an SOS starts, not when it ends.
• Smarter navigation
If you walk off your route, SafeHer automatically works out a new one, including on your way to a SafeZone during an SOS. Spoken directions can be heard even when your phone is on silent, and during an SOS the alarm takes priority over route directions.
• Beyond the Netherlands
Address search now works abroad too. If there is no SafeZone nearby, SafeHer tells you. Your Trusted Circle is still alerted and can follow your location live.
• And more
You now see whether saving your profile worked, and the app is more reliable throughout.
