Shinobi: Deep Focus Shield
Focus. Nothing Else.
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Silence the noise. Master the Void. A minimalist focus shield that turns productivity into a discipline. Rise from Initiate to Phantom.
THE NOISE IS RELENTLESS. Algorithms fight for your eyes. Notifications fragment your mind. Focus has become an act of rebellion.
ENTER SHINOBI. Shinobi is not just an app blocker; it is a digital dojo. Built on the Japanese concept of 'Ma' (間)—the meaningful void—it creates a space where your mind can finally breathe. We believe silence is not empty; it is full of potential.
FEATURES:
The Seal Commitment requires friction. To activate Shinobi, you do not flip a mindless switch; you hold the Seal. This tactile, haptic ritual signals to your brain that it is time to enter the Void.
The Shield Sever the connection to distractions. Select apps, categories to block with surgical precision using Apple's native Screen Time API. When the shield is up, the noise stops.
The Lantern Keep your head up. Monitor your session via Live Activities and Lock Screen Widgets. The 'Lantern' glows on your Dynamic Island, a constant, gentle reminder of your oath.
The Knot (Strict Mode) For those who need absolute discipline. When 'The Knot' is tied, you cannot simply tap to leave. You must hold your device perfectly still for 5 seconds—restoring physical balance to regain digital access.
The Order Gamification without the dopamine traps. Track your time in the void. Earn your honor. Rise through the ranks: • Initiate: The journey begins. • Adept: 5 Hours of total silence. • Shinobi: 24 Hours. The blade is sharp. • Phantom: 100 Hours. You are the void.
The Pledge We serve you, not advertisers. Shinobi operates entirely on-device. No accounts. No cloud analytics. No tracking. Your focus data is yours alone.
Block the apps. Master the void. Become the Shinobi.
