iPad support is here, built fully native for the bigger screen. Charts now use side-by-side layouts so you spend less time scrolling and more time seeing the full context at once. Tablet-optimized design is included across all psych and clinical workflows. Vitals, Head-to-Toe, and every charting modal now fit the iPad experience with consistent spacing, better readability, and a layout that matches how you work on a tablet. We also fixed a Safety Documentation reliability issue. SI, HI, AVH details, interventions, and patient cooperation notes now persist correctly when you move between screens and return, so your documentation stays complete and accurate.

We've polished the charting experience with a few targeted upgrades: • Smarter offline handling: if narrative generation can't reach our servers, you'll see a clear, helpful message with guidance on what to do next. • Refreshed chart screens with cleaner category titles and a more refined Back/Next button style. • Tidier review screen: the Edit Chart action is now hidden where it doesn't apply, so the screen stays focused. • Clinical reference fix: clarified the Glasgow Coma Scale descriptions for decorticate versus decerebrate posturing. A beautifully redesigned charting experience. We rebuilt the look and feel of NurseChartingPro from the ground up. The new Editorial design brings refined typography, cleaner section headers, friendlier form controls, and smoother motion to every screen, psych and clinical alike. Charting feels calmer, reads more clearly, and gets out of your way during long shifts. What else is new: - Tap any saved chart to edit, with changes auto-saved - Larger, more accessible Back/Next buttons that meet 44 dp touch targets - More reliable narrative generation when the network hiccups - Dozens of small polish fixes across navigation, status indicators, and accessibility

• Personal emergency pendant: chart presence and location in one tap. • Wander alert and elopement prevention: flag risk and document the prevention device (RFID/BLE bracelet, GPS tracker, door alarm) right on the Clinical Safety screen.

Fixed the keyboard hiding the narrative action bar. The Save, Edit, and Rewrite controls now stay visible above the keyboard while you edit. You can now dismiss the AI privacy reminder once you've acknowledged it, so it stays out of your way on future generations.

This update polishes the Subscription screen so your tier displays correctly while you're in a Pro trial. Plus the usual round of small bug fixes and stability improvements behind the scenes. Charting screens now provide guidance next to every free-text field, and a one-line note under every Generate Narrative button that explains what gets sent to AI. Tap the close button to dismiss the tip once you've read it. Fixed a bug where some active trial subscriptions weren't being recognized onscreen.

Three fixes you'll feel right away: • Catch stale notes before handoff. If you edit a chart after generating its narrative, opening that saved note now shows a clear "Chart has been updated since this narrative was generated" banner, with one-tap Regenerate so your SBAR handoff stays accurate. • Cleaner clinical narratives. Morse Fall Scale, Braden, and side-rail status no longer appear in your note or verbal handoff unless you actually charted them. • Care Setting refinements. Selected Care Setting chips now show a checkmark like every other chip in the app, and the Safety Check category correctly switches to "in progress" the moment a care setting is picked.

Stability improvements and minor bug fixes. Updated in-app Help to cover clinical charting, subscription tiers, trial, SBAR verbal handoff reports, and Send to EHR (Epic, Oracle Health). Included handoff reports in the free pool.

Manage your subscription without leaving the app. Tap "Manage Subscription" from the Home screen or Settings to view your current plan, change plans, restore purchases, or cancel (all in a polished in-app screen instead of being bounced out to the App Store) See when your subscription will end. If you've canceled auto-renewal, the app now clearly shows when your access runs out, so you're never caught off guard. Subscription reliability fix. Resolved a rare issue where a new subscriber's first narrative could fail with a "please subscribe" message right after purchasing. First-time narrative generation is now reliable.

Chart Review Screen (Clinical) Before generating your clinical narrative, you now see a full review of everything you've charted — vitals, Morse Fall score, Glasgow Coma Scale, Braden score, wounds, IV lines, head-to-toe assessments, notes, education, goals, and visit time — all on one screen. Tap Edit on any section to jump back and make changes. The screen also tells you if your narrative is up to date or needs regenerating. Goals Addressed This Visit Track care goals (wound healing, medication management, fall prevention, and more) with measurable progress notes directly on the Notes & Education screen. Visit Time Tracking Record visit time-in and time-out in military time. Overnight visits are auto-detected, and duration is calculated automatically. Care Setting & Programs Select your care setting (home, hospital, SNF, assisted living, and more) and active programs (home health, hospice, palliative, skilled rehab) independently — because a patient can be on hospice at home or hospice in a hospital. Home health nurses get CMS two-part homebound documentation built right in. Education Enhancements - Record who was taught (patient, spouse, caregiver, family member) - Additional notes field for each education entry - Barriers to Learning tooltip with common barriers Overnight Visit Support Charts that cross midnight now calculate duration correctly for night shifts and continuous care.

In recent updates, Nurse Charting Pro added full clinical charting for Med-Surg and Psych workflows, including vitals, head-to-toe assessment, wound care, IV lines, the Morse Fall Scale, and the Braden Scale. We also added AI-generated narrative notes to help nurses move from structured charting to documentation-ready text faster. To protect your work during a busy shift, the app now warns you before leaving an unsaved narrative, so you are less likely to lose documentation in progress. We also added the Glasgow Coma Scale to support assessment of the level of consciousness and acute brain injury severity. Send to EHR — Connect to Epic or Oracle Health (Cerner) and send your shift narrative directly to the patient chart as a DocumentReference, secured with SMART on FHIR. C-CDA Export — Export shift summaries as standards-compliant C-CDA documents for interoperability with any EHR. This release also includes bug fixes and minor UI improvements.
