SantaSend
Smart Secret Santa Organizer
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New this season: couples can play together, anyone can sit a year out, and there's a dark mode. Draw names, share privately, and keep every year's history.
Make your Secret Santa gift exchanges simple, fair, and fun! SantaSend takes the hassle out of organizing gift exchanges with intelligent assignment matching and easy, private sharing.
SMART ASSIGNMENTS
SantaSend remembers past years and steers everyone toward someone new, so your Secret Santa never feels repetitive. The more years you use it, the better it gets. Already ran your exchange another way? Add those past years and they count too.
PLAY ALONE OR TOGETHER
Couples and housemates can play as one. A group draws a single person between them, and whoever draws the group gives to everyone in it. Change who plays together from year to year without losing any history.
SIT A YEAR OUT
Not everyone can make it every year. Sit someone out with a drag, and they stay on your list with their history, ready to rejoin next time.
CUSTOMIZABLE EXCLUSIONS
Keep it comfortable for everyone. Choose who each person shouldn't be matched with, like a spouse or a sibling. SantaSend respects your rules while still finding a draw that works.
EFFORTLESS, PRIVATE SHARING
Send each person their assignment with a tap, by text, email, or any messaging app. Each message contains a personal link that reveals who they're giving to, with nothing to sign up for or install. Customize the message, and track who you've already sent to so nobody is missed. You don't have to see the assignments yourself: they stay hidden unless you choose to reveal them.
YEAR-OVER-YEAR HISTORY
Look back at any past year to see who gave to whom, and see how long each person has been playing.
YOUR DATA, YOUR DEVICE
No account and no sign-up. Everything stays on your device. Export a backup file whenever you like, and import it on a new phone or tablet.

Ratings & Reviews
A big update for this year's exchange.
• Play together: couples or housemates can now play as one. They draw a single person between them, and whoever draws them gives to both.
• Sit a year out: people who skip a year stay on your list with their history, ready to come back.
• A new look for your people: everyone appears as a grid of tiles showing how long they've been playing. Hold and drag someone onto another person to pair them up, or out of the game to sit out.
• Dark mode.
• Draw for next year, or add past years you ran before SantaSend so old pairings aren't repeated.
• Back up and restore: export all your exchanges to a file, and import them on another device.
• Sharing is tracked honestly: someone is only marked as shared once you've actually sent or copied their message.
• Faster setup: add several people in a row without leaving the keyboard.
• Much faster draws for large groups, plus many smaller fixes.
