Kiora is the smart time tracker for macOS when you want to capture project time without any detours. Instead of hunting for your tracking tool in the browser, you simply open the menu bar, start the timer or switch between projects and activities in seconds – no matter which app you’re currently working in.
From the menu bar panel you create new time entries, see your recent activity and always keep an eye on your current running time. Built-in idle detection alerts you when you’ve been inactive longer than your configured break threshold and lets you decide what should happen with the running entry – keep it as is, stop it at the start of the break or continue it as a new entry.
The dashboard gives you a clear overview of your recorded time, including your latest entries and the clients and projects you’ve used most recently. In Settings you connect Kiora to your Kimai instance and adjust details like menu bar display, idle threshold, language, primary color and font size to match your workflow.
Kiora is completely free and focuses on what matters most: tracking your project time quickly and reliably – right from your Mac’s menu bar.
