It is designed to help users learn about minerals, crystal structures, geology, gemstone science, and mineral formation through educational content, quizzes, and collection management tools. Users can also build and catalogue their own digital mineral collection.
While the app teaches the principles of mineral identification, it does not identify rocks or minerals from photos and does not use AI or image recognition.
