I learned Spanish on accident by living in a different country. Full immersion is the most effective way to learn, and it’s what’s missing from most language learning apps. ChatPal is the closest I’ve found to that full immersion experience. You learn through real-time conversations that feel natural (without any judgment 😂). You can go as slow or quick as you’d like. The “hint” feature is helpful for total beginners of a given language. I really like the feedback feature as well. It showed me great examples of what I could do to improve as soon as I finished a lesson. I’ll be brushing up on Italian for my Europe trip in March. Hope to see it support more languages soon. If you’re interested in learning one of the available languages, this is the best option I’ve found. Highly recommend! 💯

I've lived all over the world and had to do a lot of language learning in my time. I've used almost all learning tools: Rosetta Stone, CD-ROMs, Duolingo, and most recently, ChatGPT. I can say definitively, Chatpal outperforms them all. Its focus on conversation-first language learning is not only refreshing, but has gotten my Spanish from an A1 to B1 level in under a month, and my French from a B1 to B2 level in that same time frame. The session recaps where you can see your conversation accuracy and dig into your mistakes are outstanding, and really what sets this app apart from the competition. Love this app! I live in a mult-lingual household and have been trying to learn Hindi for years. I loved Duolingo but maxed out of it pretty quickly. I tried to take classes for some time but life got busy and I couldn’t find the time. This app has been huge for me. I’m able to practice my Hindi when I want to in a realistic conversational way that makes me feel more prepared for using it with my wife and in-laws. The conversation design is fun and thoughtful and the app is easy to use. For anyone struggling to find ways to practice conversing in a language, this is the app for you!

As a once advanced Spanish speaker with no one to practice with I’ve been frustrated as my skills have gotten rusty. ChatPal is the perfect remedy. The detailed analysis that provides feedback on unnatural phrasing, gender misalignment, and other nuances is exquisite. This alone feels like it can bring my Spanish to the next level. The challenge of speaking in real time is also so effective. I felt myself regaining confidence and skill in just a few minutes!
