On devices that support Apple Intelligence, smart parsing runs on the device; standard line-by-line parsing works on every device. **[Add Books with a Photo]** On iOS 26 or later, photograph a book to fill in the ISBN from its barcode or copyright page, plus the title and author on devices that support Apple Intelligence. Keep a small cover thumbnail on your bookshelf, too. Temporary photo copies are deleted when recognition, including any chosen enhancement, finishes or is cancelled. Originals in your photo library are unchanged; saved cover thumbnails remain. **[Private by Design]** Text and photos are processed on your device by default. Only when a parent chooses smart enhancement is that request sent to Apple Private Cloud Compute to create the draft. GrowQuest uses no third-party AI service, and children’s views have no AI chat. **[Study Buddy]** Complete plans and focus sessions to earn food for a positive virtual companion. Feed your buddy, celebrate four growth stages, and focus side by side on Home, Lock Screen Live Activities, and Dynamic Island. The buddy never gets sick, dies, or loses progress, and parents can disable it per student. **[Smart Planning & Live Tracking]** Create custom study schedules effortlessly. With Live Activities, you can track your focus progress from your Lock Screen or Dynamic Island without distractions, then tap to jump straight back to the timer. **[Gamified Reward System]** Turn effort into tangible rewards! Earn points for completing tasks or maintaining streaks. Set up a custom "Reward Store" (e.g., "1 Hour of Gaming") to keep motivation high. **[Parent & Co-Learning Mode]** A unique feature for families.
