Meet Cap Day: turn today’s photos into a personal journal. Keep a few meaningful pictures, refine the words, and revisit your days in a paper-inspired timeline.
Some days deserve more than a camera roll.
Mementi helps you keep the story behind your photos. Make a short record of a small moment, or let Cap Day bring the day's experiences together in a personal photo journal.
A DAY, TOLD TOGETHER
Tap Cap Day to start with today's photos automatically. It skips screenshots and exact duplicates, then chooses a few pictures that help tell the story. Read the day in order, with broad times of day and places instead of a minute-by-minute log.
A MOMENT WORTH KEEPING
Take photos with Camera or choose up to 13 with Photo. Pick a writing tone and add any details you want remembered. Mementi writes one complete draft for you to review.
WORDS THAT FEEL LIKE YOURS
Keep the first version, select several suggested changes, or describe a change in your own words. Revise a photo record or a Cap Day journal, then edit the text yourself whenever you want. Failed or cancelled revisions keep your previous draft.
YOUR DAYS, ON THE PAGE
Photo records and Cap Day journals live together in Days. Paper textures, photo arrangements and scrapbook details make each entry a place to return to. Share the words when you want to pass a memory along.
WRITE IN FIVE LANGUAGES
Choose English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese or Simplified Chinese, subject to Apple's model availability.
STORAGE AND PROCESSING
Records and imported photos are stored locally, with optional private iCloud sync enabled by default when available. Restart Mementi after changing the storage setting.
Generation uses Apple Private Cloud Compute. Photo records send compressed chosen photos and context. Cap Day sends overviews of today's eligible photos and may use clearer copies to choose the journal's pictures. Not every reviewed photo appears in the journal. Revisions send the chosen photos, current draft and your instructions again. iCloud sync and Apple's location-name lookup are separate services.
REQUIREMENTS
An eligible Apple Intelligence iPhone and region, iOS 27 or later, Apple Intelligence enabled, internet access and available Apple usage allowance. No Mementi account or model API key is needed. This version does not sell credits or subscriptions.
There is no offline generation fallback. Saved photo records and Cap Day journals remain readable when generation is unavailable. Review AI text for mistakes before saving or sharing.
