What's New in 1.0.5 Streaming • Camera preview after stopping — Camera preview now returns correctly after you stop a live stream instead of staying on "Initializing Camera…" • Facebook stream title — Custom stream titles (e.g. "Test") are now sent correctly to Facebook and appear on your Page when you go live. • Go Live without QR popup — Tapping Go Live no longer shows the QR overlay. Remote scoreboard turns on and streaming starts right away. Use the QR button in the toolbar if you need to share the scoreboard link. # What’s New – Next Version Summary of changes for the upcoming release. --- ## Streaming & Camera - **Stream no longer rotates when you turn the phone** Camera orientation is set once when you go live and is not updated when the device rotates. The stream stays fixed (same as the on-screen preview). - **iPad camera no longer sideways** Preview and stream now use the same orientation (0°) on both iPhone and iPad, so the camera appears right-side up on iPad. - **Stream continues after phone calls and notifications** When a call or system interruption pauses the capture session, the app resumes it automatically when the interruption ends so the stream can continue without you having to restart it. - **Do Not Disturb reminder (Game Setup)** New option in **Game Setup → Streaming**: “Do Not Disturb reminder.” When it’s on, tapping **Go Live** shows a reminder to enable Do Not Disturb (Control Center or Settings > Focus) so calls and notifications are less likely to interrupt your stream. The app cannot enable DND for you; it only reminds. --- ## Scoreboard - **Position and Move in one place** Scoreboard **Position & Move** (arrows, step size, X/Y, Reset, Set Default) is now in a single section inside the main scoreboard menu. No separate “Position” → “Move” flow; one menu for all devices. - **Scoreboard default sizes restored** When streaming from the iOS camera, the scoreboard is rendered at 1280×720 so its size and position match the previous behavior (same as when the scoreboard used the Screen pipeline). - **Removed on-screen rotation debug** The “Device: portrait → Camera: 0° (fixed)” text under the LIVE badge has been removed. - **Removed “Position Changed” console logs** The repeated “Position Changed” / offset logs from the scoreboard effect have been removed. --- ## App Store & Privacy - **Removed tracking usage description** `NSUserTrackingUsageDescription` was removed from both app Info.plist files so the app no longer declares tracking. This resolves the App Store Connect requirement to complete the App Privacy “tracking” section. Create a new build and upload it for review. --- ## Website (for your VPS) - **Privacy Policy page** `website/privacy-policy.html` – Single HTML file, same content as the in-app Privacy Policy. Upload to your site (e.g. `https://yourdomain.com/privacy-policy.html`). - **Terms of Service page** `website/terms-of-service.html` – Single HTML file, same content as the in-app Terms of Service. Same styling as the privacy page. Upload (e.g. `https://yourdomain.com/terms-of-service.html`). --- ## Technical (no user-facing change) - **Orientation:** No more device-orientation observer or 0.2s timer; orientation is applied once when streaming starts. - **Interruption:** `AVCaptureSession` `wasInterrupted` / `interruptionEnded` observers added for the preview session; on end we call `startRunning()` again after a 0.5s delay when still streaming. - **Cleanup:** Interruption observers are removed whenever the preview session is torn down. --- *Update the “Last updated” date in the app’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service views if you ship this version in a different month.*
