BACKUP & RESTORE Restoring a backup someone else sent you now creates a ledger of your own instead of a copy that clashes with the sender's original. So when you invite the sender to a shared ledger, you both record in the same ledger as expected. SHARED LEDGERS If an invite comes from a ledger restored from a backup of one of your own ledgers, the app explains why you can't join and leaves your ledger untouched. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

BACK UP TO GOOGLE DRIVE Besides iCloud, you can now keep an extra backup in your own Google Drive that survives reinstalling the app or switching phones. Go to General settings → Backup & restore → Google Drive → Connect. NEW BACKUP SCREEN See at a glance whether your data is backed up and when the last backup ran. The backup list is tidier and shows how many ledgers and transactions each backup holds. TAB BAR MINIMIZES ON SCROLL On iOS 26 and later, the tab bar shrinks as you scroll down to give content more room; scroll to the edge or tap it to bring it back. Turn it off or adjust it in General settings → Tab bar. WIDE SCREENS In landscape or on iPad, utilities line up neatly in a single row. SHARED LEDGERS When the owner's Premium expires, members can still view the ledger but can't add entries. Once the owner renews, everyone can record again right away. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS Your Premium status is picked up correctly as soon as the app opens. Minor bug fixes and stability improvements.

NO SIGN-IN NEEDED Pig Money no longer needs an account. Your data stays on your device, syncs through iCloud and is backed up to iCloud Drive every day. ICLOUD SYNC FOR EVERY LEDGER Every ledger now syncs through your iCloud. Reinstall the app or use another iPhone or iPad with the same iCloud account, and your ledgers and transactions come back on their own, no restore needed. PREMIUM FOLLOWS YOUR APPLE ID Premium belongs to the Apple ID that bought it: reinstall the app or switch devices with the same Apple ID and it is back automatically, no sign-in needed. YOUR PREVIOUS DATA If you used a Pig Money account before, your data has been moved to your device. Reinstalled the app or switched phones and your data is missing? Go to Settings → Backup & restore → Restore from old account. This is available until 31 Dec 2026, after which data on our server is permanently deleted. SHARED LEDGERS VIA ICLOUD Ledgers are now shared through iCloud: press and hold a ledger, choose Share ledger and send the invite. For ledgers shared before, the owner needs to invite members again; the app will remind you after updating. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS Use iPad in landscape. Backups are labeled Automatic or Manual, and restoring tells you which ledgers will be replaced. Fewer permission prompts on first launch, each asked when it is actually needed. Recurring transactions that were just recorded are shown right in the app.

TRANSACTIONS ON THE RIGHT DAY Future-dated entries affect balances, budgets and reports only when due. Planned amounts remain visible on the calendar, with a label identifying upcoming entries. UP-TO-DATE FIGURES The overview, reports and date-based figures refresh when a new day starts or you return to the app, while preserving your selected date range. INTEREST PAYMENTS Fixed an issue where collecting or paying interest lost its link to the debt, so interest is recorded against the correct debt.

This release focuses on fixes from a full review of the app. DEBTS Totals in each contact's debt detail are correct when several transactions share a day or were logged early in the morning. Debt amounts now show the principal everywhere; interest is listed on its own line instead of being merged in. When collecting or repaying a debt, the contact list shows everyone; picking the wrong direction gives a clear error instead of silently failing. WALLETS AND SAVINGS Deleting a wallet also removes the recurring entries tied to it, so no new transactions land in a wallet that no longer exists. A wallet that already has transactions can no longer change currency, which would have misread every past amount. Savings deposit and settlement dates are recorded as the date on your device. When picking a source wallet or the wallet that receives a settlement, only wallets in the same currency are shown. TRIPS Picking an expense or settlement wallet only shows wallets in the trip's currency. Editing an expense keeps each person's share intact. The amount spent on each trip is always the latest figure. TRANSACTIONS AND OVERVIEW Filtering the overview by a foreign-currency wallet converts incoming transfers into the right unit. The overview refreshes right after you add, edit or delete a transaction; the monthly average only counts months with data. Filtering transactions by trip and by status returns accurate results. Converted amounts no longer jump to a wrong value when you type quickly in another currency. BUDGETS, RECURRING, CATEGORIES Custom-period budgets calculate the period from your chosen start date, and the alert threshold you set now takes effect. Editing a recurring entry no longer restarts its generation schedule from the beginning. Deleting a category also clears the related budgets and recurring entries, exactly as the confirmation says. Income sources: the yearly total is correct, and deleting a source keeps its transactions. OTHER Entering the wrong PIN five times locks entry for 30 seconds, doubling up to five minutes. The notification list loads more when you scroll to the end. Duplicate contact names are flagged as soon as you save. Data export filters dates by your device's time and shows totals per currency. Popular exchange rates in the More tab always follow the ledger you are using. Signing out stops notifications for the previous account. Ledgers shared with you no longer count toward the ledgers you own when deleting one. An account without a display name no longer makes the profile screen reload endlessly. Ads reload on their own when the connection is flaky, with no long wait on launch. Many small fixes in AI entry and the Finance Assistant.

WIDGETS ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A new widget shows your balance and this month's income and spending without opening the app. The numbers refresh after every entry you make, and amounts are converted into your ledger's currency if you keep wallets in more than one. Tap the widget to jump straight where you need: quick entry, AI entry, or the overview. PIG MONEY ON APPLE WATCH Log an expense from your wrist without reaching for your phone. Say the amount and what it was for, and the app works out the details and saves it to your wallet. Your watch also shows your balance and how this month's budget is going. MONTHLY PREMIUM PLAN Alongside the Yearly and Lifetime plans, there is now a Monthly one for anyone who wants longer to decide. The upgrade screen shows the plan that fits what you are trying to do, along with your trial period if you qualify for one. SHARED LEDGERS WHEN PREMIUM ENDS If the ledger owner's Premium expires, every ledger beyond the first becomes read-only: your data stays exactly where it is and remains fully visible, only adding and editing pauses. The app explains why right on the screen instead of quietly hiding the buttons. A QUICKER FIRST LAUNCH New users now see a short introduction and go straight into the app, with no currency to pick beforehand. Your first ledger is created for you based on your device region, and you can change it any time in the ledger settings. FIXES Widget figures now match the app after you edit or delete a transaction. The upgrade screen shows the right state for anyone who redeemed Premium days with coins.

COINS AND INVITE FRIENDS A friend installs Pig Money and enters your referral code, and you both get coins. Spend them on days of Premium or extra AI bill scans. Open My coins and Invite friends at the top of the Utilities screen. The coins screen shows your balance, the reward list and your full coin history, no longer capped at the last 20 entries. ONE-TIME CONSENT BEFORE THE AI FEATURES The first time you use AI entry, bill scanning or the Finance assistant, the app asks for your consent once and spells out what data is sent, who receives it and what it is used for. A link opens the matching section of the Privacy Policy directly. SEND FEEDBACK FROM INSIDE THE APP A new Feedback item in the left menu lets you tell us what Pig Money should improve. We read every message. ACCURATE PREMIUM EXPIRY Your Premium expiry now includes the bonus days redeemed with coins, instead of showing a shorter date than the real one. Before you redeem Premium days, the confirmation tells you the new expiry you will end up with. FIXES Fixed content being covered at the top of the AI screens on iOS 26. The yearly plan card no longer shows its price twice. Deleting a ledger now shows a progress state instead of looking stuck.

AI FINANCE ASSISTANT Ask anything about your money: "Where did I spend the most this month?", "Is my spending up or down versus last month?", "How can I save more?". The assistant analyses your own in-app figures and answers with concrete numbers and suggested next steps. Open it from the card just below Total Balance on the Overview screen. SUGGESTED QUESTIONS Not sure what to ask? Tap Ideas to pick from a list of common questions, grouped into Overview, Spending, Income and Advice. ANALYSE EVERYTHING WORTH NOTING The Analyse all button in the Worth noting section sends every current alert to the assistant and returns one combined analysis instead of reviewing each item separately. RENAMED: AI ENTRY The AI logging feature, previously called AI Assistant, is now AI entry so it is not confused with the Finance Assistant. Nothing about how it works has changed. INTERFACE The input bar on the AI screens has been redesigned: tidier, easier to reach, with an indicator while the assistant is replying. Assistant answers now support full formatting and let you select any part of the text to copy. Consistent type sizes across the summary cards on Overview, History, Budgets, Savings and Trips. The Total Balance card now shows shortened figures, so they are easier to read. Debt interest is displayed more compactly. FIXES Fixed selecting and copying text inside assistant answers.
