Playlists you start play in their own order again, shuffle included. Your daily song sits in a compact row so the feed comes first. Search tells you when you’re offline and tries again on its own. Bug fixes and improvements.

Fixes a crash on launch that some phones hit after a session, and the app now recovers by itself the next time it opens. Bug fixes and improvements.

Badge holders get their badge back: tapping it opens its colors and drawing again, with your plan and price named, instead of an upgrade offer. Favorite Artists names stay on one line. A cleared chat draft stays cleared. Song intros are off unless you turn them on. Shuffling a list plays only that list. A tap beside a picture in a chat closes it.

Lyric posts get See Reactions in their menu. Notifications only show reviews you can open. A record’s About loads faster the first time. Chat, feed and player fixes.

Plus: a song picked for you alone every morning, written up by Wavelength, with the badge and every lock. Everyone’s Song: the song the whole app is rating today, free. Links on your profile, a Follows you tag, longer bios, and share anything as a post, your weekly recap included. Listen Later and Loved lists share again. Chat, feed and player fixes.

Lists are easier to get through: find a record on any list, sort it by rating or year, and filter any shelf down to a single year. Tap an artist’s reviewer count to see who’s behind it, search the artists you’ve rated, and Notifications opens on the first thing you haven’t seen.

The badge is one plan now, by the month or the year. Tap any locked feature to see what it unlocks, or invite a friend to unlock it free. Lyrics you quote in a review or comment become links, songs Apple Music doesn’t carry play right in Rate.fm, and the play button in the tab bar starts a pick.

Pin a review to the top of your profile: tap the three dots on any of your reviews and choose Pin to Profile. Plus fixes and improvements.

Chat fixes: a tap that stops a scrolling thread no longer opens what’s under your finger, short threads stop spinning, and a crash is gone. Wavelength now shows you the badge when your free messages run out. Plus fixes and improvements.

Songs have an About: the story behind the song, who wrote and produced it, and what it samples. Rate a publication’s taste from its profile. The badge now comes by the year, at a discount. Radio keeps playing when your queue runs out. Rate a friend’s ten highest-rated songs to finish their challenge. Plus fixes and improvements.

Your daily song is now the top of Home, with its cover running behind the title. Gift a friend the badge for a month from their profile. Rate album covers, not just the music. Make lists of artists and save artists to listen to later. Take a photo straight into a chat. The queue keeps a history of what you’ve played. Plus fixes and improvements.

Nudge a score a tenth at a time from the player: a rated song or record now has a minus and a plus on its chip. Your yearly rating goal is back on your profile. The review composer remembers how you last entered a score: if you typed it, the number pad is up and ready the next time. The score wheel’s 10 no longer breaks under Bold Text. Sheets opened from a profile follow your light or dark mode. Plus fixes and improvements.

Send a screenshot to a chat straight from the share sheet. Lyrics in the player, synced to the song, with notes on the lines that have them. Search by typing a lyric. Top Picks is easier to read: what still needs you comes first, and a pick you’ve finished dims and wears your score. Start a pick of the day with anyone right from Top Picks, and a pick can run in a one-to-one chat too. Your lists can be grouped into folders. Chords and key on a song page are free for everyone. The player gets a Next button and closes without a hop. Plus fixes for the weekly recap, notifications on artist ratings and the chat bar.

Album covers now show the faces of people you follow who love the record. Your daily song opens on a page that shows it being written for you. Any album’s menu can make it your group’s next pick. Group chat details show each member’s badge. Plus fixes for Top Picks, the chat bar, the Up Next queue and the three-dots menu.

Profiles have a new layout, with your header photo running the whole page. Stats can be shared one section at a time. Group chats get an album of the day. Posts in other languages get a translate link. Settings is a proper sheet now. Plus fixes, including a blur that could sit behind the Dynamic Island.

Editing a review opens it with your score and text in place again, so you can change a rating without rewriting it.

Support Rate.fm: a new way to keep the app running, and draw your own badge. Tap the caption under a photo, and the all-time chart’s challenge scrolls with the list. A thread opened from a notification shows its message right away. The listening map shows neighbourhoods, not streets. Fixes for playback, loved songs, and tier placements.

The badge: a checkmark next to your name, or draw your own. It unlocks nothing; it keeps Rate.fm running. Invite friends: every friend who joins unlocks a perk, and the Wavelength Crew. Reactions on messages, group chat details, and Spotify stream counts on songs and albums. Share cards for your streak and your profile. Reviews without a score, plus a heart for the ones you love. A smoother sign-up, faster feeds, and many fixes.

Reactions Hold a message to react, or double tap it. Tapbacks sit on the bubble, you hear when someone reacts to something you said, and the thread reads it back: ben loved “see you at 8”. Music connection If Apple Music or Spotify stops reaching Wavelength, Settings says so and offers to reconnect it. Spotify listeners stay Spotify listeners after a reinstall. Spotify Tap Continue with Spotify on rate.fm/me and your taste rating opens right here in the app. Lists A list shows how many times it has been forked. Fixes Home loads faster and scrolls smoother, chats open on the spot, and smaller fixes throughout the app.

Composers The keyboard’s suggested word stays a suggestion. Comments, replies, messages and reviews send exactly what you typed, and the suggestion is still there to accept with a space. Fixes Smaller fixes throughout the app.

Lyrics Save the lines you love. The lyrics you keep now sit on your profile as cards in the album’s own colors, marked with where the line falls in the song. Every song page shows its lyrics, and any line can be saved from there. A saved lyric shares like any other post: a card in a message, a link, or an image for Instagram. Messages Typing indicators are real now: you can see when someone is writing to you, and Wavelength waits its turn, holding off while you type and picking up where you left off. Its replies arrive one message at a time. Profiles On a profile, a song or an album opens the record, and its score opens the review. Fixes Swiping back and the zoom into songs and albums are steadier throughout the app, the best-of charts follow the filter you picked, and shared images of songs and shelves include their covers.

Stats Every profile now ends in a View stats button. Your rating history and your listening, side by side: distribution, ratings over time, average score, genres, decades and your most rated artists. Every ranked list opens in full with its own sorts, and every chart reads out under a finger. Rating graphs Hold a bar of any rating distribution to see who gave that score, or what got it. Tap one to open the ratings behind it. Profiles The header fades as you scroll instead of jumping, and verified accounts can add a bio and a link. Filters Filter any list down to the part you want, and filter an item’s opinions by sort, by words, or by score. Icons Alternate app icons follow your home screen into dark and tinted.

Invite friends without leaving the app: start a new message and everyone you know who isn’t on Wavelength yet is right there in the To: list, ready to be asked. The chat keyboard behaves now too, coming back to letters after you send without the flash. Plus a long list of fixes across the app.
