Version 2.2.6 - A fresh look, sharper math. This is the biggest visual update yet, plus a calibration tweak that will subtly change every aim line you draw in crosswind. A new design across the entire app • Refined "Precision Instrument" aesthetic - deeper contrast for outdoor legibility, a single hero "Plays Like" number, and less chrome competing for your attention. • Brand-new symmetric wind compass dial with a half-vector arrow that always points where the wind is blowing relative to your target. • Bottom-attached distance scrubber - swipe the ruler or tap ± to dial in any yardage from 50 to 350. Haptic feedback at every round number. • Conditions strip at the top: temperature · humidity · gust · sky, all in one elegant row. • Refreshed Forecast tab, refreshed Settings, and a cleaner four-step onboarding flow. Sharper crosswind math • Crosswind drift is now calibrated against TrackMan and PGA Tour caddie data. A 20 mph crosswind on a 200-yard shot now shows around 27 yards of aim correction - matching what the pros actually use on tour. Behind the scenes • Wind arrow always rotates the shortest path around the dial. • VoiceOver labels added across the main caddie screen. • Removed unused camera permission - Tour Caddie no longer requests camera access. • Tighter codebase, smaller app footprint.

We've added a sleek HUD-style reminder that guides you to aim your phone at the target. The indicator features a subtle scanning animation and fits perfectly with the precision instrument design you love. IMPROVED: More Accurate Calculations • Refined wind physics based on TrackMan research data • Better headwind/tailwind calculations for more reliable distances • Temperature and humidity effects now properly bounded for realistic adjustments FIXED: Compass Accuracy • Corrected an 8-degree offset for true north calibration • Your wind readings are now more precise than ever ENHANCED: Premium Feel • Added satisfying haptic feedback when the compass updates • Smoother animations throughout the app As always, just point your phone at the flag, enter your distance, and let Tour Caddie do the math. Play smarter, score better. Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from you.
