This is an igneous rock classification app for those who are geo students, professionals, or well trained. It was built from the ground up.
This is not a point at a rock and get a failed ID app. This igneous rock identifier classifies igneous rocks by you entering the mineral percent based on ternary plots (IUGS standard) for field and calculation use. It is not an app for beginners. Quartz, foids, and olivine are calculated automatically. This calculates the rock name of most felsic, intermediate, mafic, and ultramafic rocks in a field setting. There are 7 different diagrams, 2 basic information pages, and the user guide.

I have added ternary diagrams and more minerals. I also changed the selection colors so the colors contrasted more. It is a serious upgrade.
