Juli's Pixels: Kids Drawing
Pixel art that comes alive
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Draw a cat. Make it walk. Feed it until it grows too big for the screen.
A simple pixel art editor with a retro color palette, plus a playground where your drawings come to life.
No ads, no subscriptions, no accounts, works offline. The 8×8 canvas and the playground are free; one optional purchase unlocks the bigger 16×16 canvas, a larger gallery, and sharing.
I made it for my own kids.
Ratings & Reviews

The playground now opens with a scene: a bunny and a tree to play with straight away.
New: trace a picture. Pick an outline (a heart, a deer…) and colour over it.
Each feature shows a short demo the first time, so you can see what it does before you use it.
Also: a + in the playground's picture strip to start a new drawing, a sound on/off button on the playground, and easier picking of pictures to place.
