Blind Racer is a slot car racing game built from the ground up for blind and visually impaired players — and it plays just as well with your eyes shut as with them open. RACE BY SOUND Spatial 3D audio (HRTF) turns your iPhone into a track you can hear. Every corner is announced by a ping played from where the corner really is, its pitch telling you how sharp it is. Your speed rises and falls in the engine note, and you can hear your rival's engine beside you. An optional Driving Coach calls every corner aloud, early enough to act on. Every piece of information you need to drive arrives through sound. Three independent volume controls let you mix it your way: Master, Spatial for the positional 3D layer, and Abstract for the centred cues. ONE-TOUCH CONTROL Hold anywhere to accelerate. Let go to coast. The car follows the slot — you manage the speed. Carry too much into a corner and you de-slot, and the seconds you lose are the seconds that decide the race. A game controller's right trigger or a keyboard's space bar works too. A guided practice lap gets you started: the coach explains each idea as it happens, so there's nothing to read before your first race. WAYS TO RACE Career — follow Mira Vance through six tournaments, from the Rookie Loop to the Champion's Series. Winning earns points. Free Play — a single race against a rival on any of 10 tracks, any lap count, any difficulty. Weekly Time Trial — a new track every week, the same for everyone, with its own leaderboard. Series — build your own championship of one to three races and settle it on points. Race Online — take on another player one-on-one over Game Center. Wi-Fi Racing — race a friend on the same network, with no account and no internet needed. THE GARAGE Career points buy upgrades: Engine, Tires and Aero. Each one changes how the car behaves, so how you spend is a real decision. Earn five unlockable engine voices, from the Classic Hum to Turbo Chiptune, and dress your car in your choice of liveries and sponsor decals. LEADERBOARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS Best-lap leaderboards for every track, career points and the weekly time trial, plus achievements to chase — all in Game Center. FEEL THE RACE Haptic feedback marks the moments that matter: a texture that roughens as you near the limit of grip, the jolt of a de-slot, the recovery, the finish. More upgrading features to use your leftover points on

Hello, I’ve been playing this game every since it come out, but I was wondering in your next update, see I upgraded my car clear to the max, but I still got leftover points. I think I still got over 200 and some points. Thing of it is, I can’t really do nothing with the rest unless I reset the game, but then what that does it deletes my upgrades, it deletes my points, and I gotta do everything all over again. I was just wondering if it’s possible that you guys can actually put more upgrades that you can actually use the points on without resetting the game right away. Maybe you can upgrade the car to more levels. See right now if I reset the game, I’m gonna end up losing all my points, and then I’m gonna have to make end points all over again just to re-upgrade my cars, and I was also wondering if it’s possible to get some few more choices of different engine sounds. Games great. I’ve been playing it. I heard about it about a week or so more ago But I was wondering if there’s any kind of features, maybe you guys can add stuff to the game. I know it just probably you guys just brought it out, but like I said, I don’t wanna see the points that I did make go to waste. There’s nothing more I can do cause I got everything I’m on upgraded to the max, and unless I reset it and bring everything back to zero, which is my upgrades, my points, then I gotta redo the points all over again just so I can do the upgrades all over again and one more thing, if it is possible, could you actually give couple more cars and stuff to choose from? I mean, that would be however you guys would wanna do it, but I really love your game. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep playing. I’m already doing the weekly trial that starts every Monday, but that’s what I wanted to bring to your attention about all the upgrades and see right now the points that I got and you probably can see that within my account however this works. I just don’t wanna waste the points and only way I can re-upgrade is just to reset button and click it and it’ll reset the whole game. I mean, I don’t wanna do that if it’s possible you guys can come up with some better features, maybe more cars, maybe more sounds higher upgrades that will be so great. One of the best accessible auto racing games I've seen!

I've tried a few accessible auto racing games on the app store, and in my humble opinion, this is the best one yet! I LOVE EVERYTHING about it! From the free play mode to the career mode to the ability to create my own racing series, everything is TOP-NOTCH in the accessibility department! I LOVE all the engine sounds too, although I prefer the classic hum, because that's what the rival uses.What would be AWESOME is if the user could save any series he or she created as a preset by giving it a creative name, and it would ALSO be AWESOME if a user could invite a friend to race him or her in a series that he or she created! This game gets FIVE STARS from me, although I'd give it 100 stars if I could!

Ready for iPhone Duo. Blind Racer fills the outer and inner displays, held either way, and the whole screen stays the throttle. The tabs move to the side of the screen, where iPhone Duo puts them. Fold or unfold your iPhone Duo mid-race and the race pauses and tells you so, even with voice cues off. When the screen settles, it counts you back in: "Resuming. Three. Two. One. Go." A race now also pauses for a phone call, Siri or Control Center, and counts you back in when you return. Before, it carried on without sound or haptics. On iPad, Blind Racer now turns to portrait too, and works alongside other apps in resizable windows.
