more TeachVault 4.1.19 improves phone rebinding, QR sharing and attendance review.
• After a reset or unbind, the student's next QR scan asks you to approve attendance and rebind that phone.
• Clearer class-group messages with Bluetooth and Location guidance.
• Understand when attendance can be approved without trusting a phone.
• Record past attendance for newly added students with clearer wording and counts.
• Completed lectures no longer show an irrelevant bulk attendance menu option.
• Retains student/device reports, batch device approval and direct phone management.
Nearby-phone evidence supports teacher review; it does not prove who carries the phone.
4.1.19 2d ago
TeachVault 4.1.17 makes QR attendance easier to review.
• See roll number, available name and reported phone details together in the QR report.
• Identify the student whose check-in reported a known fake-location app; installed-only findings remain informational.
• Review warnings when one recorded device attempts different roll numbers. Same-roll retries and matching phone models do not cause that warning.
• Approve and trust the current batch of first-time phones together. Decline this batch applies only to the confirmed eligible batch; other cases and new arrivals stay for your next decision.
• Get a clear Bluetooth recovery prompt before starting QR when the teacher phone's Bluetooth is off or permission is denied.
• Open the selected student's current device controls directly from QR reports, student profiles or class lists. Unbind and review a replacement phone with Undo.
• See live student update and Bluetooth follow-ups, with clearer attendance-only and decline choices.
• Shorter shared QR links keep the existing app-opening route.
• Bluetooth-only pending requests can recover automatically after the nearby signal is verified; other reviews stay protected.
• Strict On keeps missing nearby evidence in review, including older apps and an unavailable config fetch.
Nearby-phone evidence supports teacher review; it does not prove who carries the phone.

TeachVault 4.1.16 makes QVault class connections clearer and roster sync recovery safer.
• Classes with an active QVault server link now show that status clearly and offer Open QVault without creating another handover.
• Roster sync distinguishes newer server conflicts from timeouts and guides you to refresh before retrying.
• Use the live QR classroom map, nearby-phone check controls, readable phone details and phone unbinding with Undo.
• Improved review buttons, QR expiry prompts and iPhone sharing.
Check QVault Classes to confirm the roster is saved on your device. Nearby-phone evidence supports teacher review; it does not prove who carries the phone.
4.1.16 4d ago
TeachVault 4.1.13 makes QR attendance harder to proxy, clearer to run and safer to save.
• Strict is the recommended QR mode: precise location inside a 100 m classroom radius, one phone per student, in-app only, and no PIN needed. A classmate's phone goes to teacher review instead of marking a second roll number, and the roll number locks to the student's phone.
• QR start is more dependable indoors: when GPS is weak, TeachVault uses this class's saved room location if today's reading agrees with it, and briefly retries before giving up. Starting a QR shows what it is waiting for, with a seconds counter and a Strong, Fair or Weak connection check; if a QR still cannot start, the reason is shown with Retry and Offline Roll Call.
• The QR report shows a classroom circle: who checked in inside the room, and roll numbers for anyone outside it.
• Saving warns about QR-review students you have not reviewed yet, and History marks attendance not uploaded yet with a Sync now button.
• The share message is short and matches your settings, students see a countdown, Today folds away slots already taken, and exports have readable names.
4.1.13 6d ago
TeachVault 4.1.9 makes everyday classroom work clearer and more reliable.
• Attendance register is a compact date-wise P/A table; five focused exports include shortage lists and student reports.
• QR check-in handles a late location fix without a second tap, and Smart Insights identify the class, roll number and reason.
• Profile approvals load faster, with new Mumbai server endpoints once deployed.
• Reminders, polls, collaboration, QVault marks and Course File workflows have reliability fixes.
On earlier versions, deleting an account on a phone also removed the backup keys that Guest mode and other accounts on that phone used. Deleting an account now keeps them. Keys removed by earlier versions cannot be recreated, so some older backups made on that phone may no longer open.
4.1.9 Oct 16
TeachVault 4.1.8 makes QR start quicker on slow classroom networks.
• Opening attendance now prepares the connection, so Start QR no longer waits for it.
• The app no longer re-checks your sign-in with the server after every check-in, which also makes "Syncing your account" quicker.
• Includes 4.1.7: faster student profile approvals.
On earlier versions, deleting an account on a phone also removed the backup keys that Guest mode and other accounts on that phone used. Deleting an account now keeps them. Keys removed by earlier versions cannot be recreated, so some older backups made on that phone may no longer open.
4.1.8 Oct 10
TeachVault 4.1.6 adds a QR report and faster profile approvals.
• QR report: after a QR class, see how many check-ins arrived and were accepted, how far students were from the classroom, how fast they were confirmed and why any check-in was not accepted. Open it from History or the attendance screen menu.
• Profile approvals: Approve all handles up to 12 students at once, Approve and Reject respond on the first tap, the queue opens faster and roster-mismatch notices can be dismissed.
• Includes 4.1.5: steadier QR on slow mobile data, faster check-in confirmation, messages in your theme colour and long lists that show names right away.
On earlier versions, deleting an account on a phone also removed the backup keys that Guest mode and other accounts on that phone used. Deleting an account now keeps them. Keys removed by earlier versions cannot be recreated, so some older backups made on that phone may no longer open.
4.1.6 Oct 9
TeachVault 4.1.5 makes QR attendance steadier on slow mobile data and long lists quicker to read.
• Start QR waits longer to confirm a new QR on a slow connection, so a QR that was already created is shown instead of "QR could not be started".
• While a QR is starting or live, background sync and backups wait, leaving the connection to the QR and to students' check-ins.
• Student check-ins are confirmed faster on your phone, and the QR screen shows check-ins that have arrived and are still being confirmed.
• Students on a slow connection now see "Slow connection" with Retry instead of "No internet connection".
• If Retry shows a QR made before you changed the timer, TeachVault says so and offers a one-tap replacement.
• Messages use your theme colour and no longer cover the QR.
• Names in long lists, such as History by students, now appear as soon as you scroll to them.
• Includes the 4.1.4 student link fix: the app downloads your latest attendance before updating students' live attendance links.
On earlier versions, deleting an account on a phone also removed the backup keys that Guest mode and other accounts on that phone used. Deleting an account now keeps them. Keys removed by earlier versions cannot be recreated, so some older backups made on that phone may no longer open.
4.1.5 Oct 8
TeachVault 4.1.4 keeps students' attendance links correct.
• Before updating students' live attendance links, the app now downloads your latest attendance for that class. If anything is still missing on this phone, the links stay as they are instead of showing old totals.
• Attendance sync no longer stops when one session is waiting for QR review.
• Deleted sessions keep their history in the cloud.
• Also includes quicker student check-in: remembered roll numbers, early location and clearer messages.
On earlier versions, deleting an account on a phone also removed the backup keys that Guest mode and other accounts on that phone used. Deleting an account now keeps them. Keys removed by earlier versions cannot be recreated, so some older backups made on that phone may no longer open.
4.1.4 Oct 6
TeachVault 4.1.0 adds guided student conflict recovery.
• Review eligible entries created separately on different phones and confirm when they are the same student.
• Matching is completed after you fully close and reopen the app. Saved attendance and existing student details stay intact.
• Entries with different details or history that needs reconciliation stay unchanged.
• Includes Google Drive access fixes, local-time backup history, backup responsiveness improvements and clearer encryption error references.
• Sync and sign-out continue to keep phone data when saving cannot be confirmed.
On earlier versions, deleting an account on a phone also removed the backup keys that Guest mode and other accounts on that phone used. Deleting an account now keeps them. Keys removed by earlier versions cannot be recreated, so some older backups made on that phone may no longer open.
4.1.0 Oct 2
TeachVault 4.0.32 keeps your data safer when you sign out, switch accounts or delete an account.
• Signing out or switching accounts saves this phone's classes and students to your account first; if that can't be confirmed, it pauses instead of clearing the phone.
• Clear Local Records & Photos, sign-out and account deletion work again on phones with students.
• Deleting an account removes only its own backup key and only the backups TeachVault can confirm are its; Guest mode and other accounts keep theirs.
• Guest mode can take, save and reopen attendance again.
• Signing in on a phone with Guest records asks before moving them.
• The first Start QR can be quicker, and a quiet line shows how long each step took.
• Google Drive checks permissions and shows a specific reason if its backup copy fails.
• Fixed an iPhone crash during delayed cloud transactions.
• Sample-data generation is removed from store builds; existing classes stay unchanged.
• Mentor workspaces keep unsent phone edits and private notes through sync; text typed during a save is kept too.
• A calmer guided tour, and Reports class pickers that fit small screens.
• The Privacy Policy is updated; you will be asked to accept it once.
On earlier versions, deleting an account on a phone also removed the backup keys that Guest mode and other accounts on that phone used. Deleting an account now keeps them. Keys removed by earlier versions cannot be recreated, so some older backups made on that phone may no longer open.

• Keep the active QR's location mode and settings visible until a replacement is ready.

• Accepted QR check-ins and your manual marks remain intact.
• Get clear guidance before saving when any marks still need review, including after reopening a draft.
• Keep the class name visible when changing to a past attendance date.
• Retain compact attendance layouts, selected-date recovery and clear retry options.
4.0.23 Sep 12
TeachVault 4.0.18 makes attendance more reliable.
• QR startup now waits for the exact in-progress activation transaction instead of treating a still-running request as a timeout.
• Push-token registration coalesces duplicate in-flight refreshes to prevent retry bursts.
• In Attendance History, eligible backdated students can be explicitly added to a saved session with a chosen status while preserving its audited roster history.
4.0.18 Sep 3
TeachVault 4.0.17 makes QR start and account recovery safer.
• A QR stays hidden until the exact classroom code is confirmed active.
• Retry checks the same QR instead of creating duplicates, and Offline Roll Call stays immediately available.
• Account-recovery guidance protects local teacher data and directs you to the original account.
4.0.17 Sep 2
TeachVault 4.0.13 makes preserved-workspace recovery dependable.
• The exact original account can reopen a reversible pending cleanup locally without waiting for QR or Firestore.
• A different account UID remains blocked from the preserved workspace.
• Separately, updated FlutterFire transaction handling prevents a spurious cancellation-channel exception/log during teardown.
• The current UI, features, pricing, data formats, backup and restore formats, and Free/Pro access remain unchanged.
4.0.13 Aug 31
TeachVault 4.0.3 strengthens QR attendance recovery and classroom control.
• Brief or ambiguous service checks no longer move an active lecture into Offline Roll Call as though offline status were confirmed.
• An unfinished QR is recovered before another code starts, preserving accepted check-ins and the exact remaining students.
• Save and QR close use bounded recovery while the teacher returns immediately to the attendance grid.
• Flagged scans stay in teacher review; one tap changes red/Absent to green/Present.
Pricing, purchases, backup and restore formats, and Free/Pro access are unchanged.
4.0.3 Aug 22
TeachVault 4.0.2 makes new-student attendance accurate from the right date.
• Start attendance from Today or choose the student’s actual previous joining date.
• Add Present, Absent, Late, or Excused for selected completed lectures—TeachVault never guesses missing history.
• Separate fresh-roster and temporary-to-final roll templates prevent confusion while preserving existing attendance and student history.
• Imports, cloud sync, reports, and exports respect the student’s attendance-start date.
• Flagged QR scans stay under teacher review until safely resolved.
Pricing, purchases, backup and restore formats, and Free/Pro access are unchanged.
4.0.2 Aug 20
TeachVault 4.0.1 keeps classroom QR attendance and makes a live lecture finish more reliably.
Finish the lecture • A valid first-time student device marks Present for this lecture. The device stays untrusted until you review it later. • Stop current QR returns to the student list immediately. Closing the code continues in the background. • In QR review, one tap turns a red Absent mark green Present. Late and Excused stay on the existing gestures. • First-device review rows that are already Present can be accepted in one action.
After class • Changing class in History loads that class’s students without needing Refresh every time. • Today insights use the true count of students with perfect attendance and refresh after you save.
Start in this room, the same-code 1-minute extend, and the compact Share, Arrived, and More dock are unchanged. Pricing, purchases, teacher data formats, backup and restore formats, and Free/Pro access are unchanged.
4.0.1 Aug 17
TeachVault 4.0.0 is a classroom QR attendance update. Start the right code for this lecture, give late students one extra minute on the same code, and keep the live list visible while they arrive.
Start in this room
• When Location check is on, Start QR captures this classroom for this lecture only.
• A pin saved from an earlier room is never reused for a later lecture.
• QR Attendance opens immediately. Location is captured when you tap Start QR, not before the screen opens.
Remote or shared-link lectures
• Turn Location check off to start a remote or shared-link QR immediately.
• PIN and app rules still apply.
Same code, one more minute
• In the last 30 seconds, Extend 1 min keeps the same QR, link, and PIN so late students can still scan.
• If that prompt is missed, the expired screen also offers Extend 1 min.
• One live code can be extended up to 60 minutes from when it was created.
Keep the list visible
• Share, Arrived, and More stay on one compact row so the student list remains on screen.
• More holds Stop current QR, Mark remaining, and Offline Roll Call.
• Arrived and Back keep the QR live. Stop in More is the explicit end.
Pricing, purchases, teacher data formats, backup and restore formats, and Free/Pro access are unchanged.
4.0.0 Aug 16
- Replace a live QR for a newer code without losing accepted check-ins.
- Stop QR moves only unresolved students to review; Cancel Session remains the separate whole-draft action.
- Either All Absent choice is QR-ready, so valid scans become Present while later manual choices stay protected.
- Account sync finishes its visible roster step sooner and continues safe background work quietly.
3.5.37 Aug 15
• Reliable Classroom applies and remembers a five-minute QR, PIN and same-phone fallback without unreliable indoor GPS rejection.
• Offline Roll Call keeps attendance moving through weak networks while preserving successful QR scans.
• Accepted scans survive reconnects and QR refreshes; conflicts require teacher review instead of silent loss.
• Mark every student offers explicit attendance, and pricing or Free/Pro access does not change.
3.5.36 Aug 14
- Completed attendance now stays completed after an update or restart instead of appearing as a fresh blank session.
- Genuine unfinished attendance remains recoverable for the correctly signed-in teacher.
- Confirmations clear quickly, while accessible action messages remain closeable when more time is needed.
- Repeated attendance updated messages no longer queue, and export progress stays on the screen.
3.5.35 Aug 12
Fixed Home Health Sync sometimes showing Pro only for a signed-in Pro teacher after a background check. Background sync now keeps account and access checks aligned, refreshes automatically, and turns green On only after a confirmed cloud backup. Includes faster Reports and Insights loading.
3.5.34 Aug 11
