ShapeMorph: Drop&Merge Shapes
Physics puzzle & combo arcade
Free · In‑App Purchases
Two free ranked tries a day, a Sunday tournament open to the world top 100, and a board that never plays the same way twice. No timer, no lives, no pay-to-win shapes.
ShapeMorph is a physics arcade game: drop shapes, merge them, keep the board alive.
Every shape falls with real physics. It rolls, it bounces, it settles where it lands — never on a grid. Two identical shapes touch and they merge into the next one up. The board fills, the danger line waits at the top, and one good chain can clear half of it.
THE SHAKER
Stuck? Shake the board. Quake, vortex, antigravity or a plain shake — each one reshuffles everything on screen. Standard mode only: Ranked, Duel and Pro scores stay comparable to each other.
FOUR WAYS TO PLAY
- Standard: no time limit, no pressure, shakers allowed.
- Ranked: two free attempts a day, no shakers. This is where the leaderboards are decided.
- Challenge: create a private code and play your friends.
- Pro: the Sunday tournament, open to the worldwide top 100 of Ranked.
LEADERBOARDS THAT MEAN SOMETHING
Four of them, and each answers a different question. Today, this week, the Sunday tournament, and total points — the one where playing often counts as much as playing well. Every board is worldwide, and your own position stays visible even when you are outside the top 100.
ARENAS AND SHAPES
Each arena has its own decor, palette and sounds; each shape set changes how the board reads at a glance. Play to earn N'Joy and unlock them. None of it changes the physics: a skin will never earn you a single point.
THE NUMBERS
A full statistics screen: best, average and spread for score, duration, merges, shapes dropped and best combo — across every game ever played, with your own position marked on each one.
ACCESSIBILITY
A colorblind mode writes the level number on every shape, so the ten levels never have to be told apart by color alone. One switch in the settings.
Free to play. Premium removes the ads and raises Ranked from 2 to 10 attempts a day.
PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION
Premium (No Ads) is an auto-renewable subscription: $3.99 per week (price varies by region). It removes all advertising and adds daily bonuses. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings.

Premium subscribers: once your ten free spins of the day are used, the Lucky Wheel's “Extra Spin (ad)” button now gives you more for an ad, like everyone else. Until now it did nothing.

Your player card. A hexagonal medallion carries your avatar inside the frame you pick: 105 avatars, 12 frames — six of them animated — and 6 card backgrounds. Pin up to three of 76 badges, wear one of 47 titles or one the leaderboard grants for a while: Today’s No.1, Week’s Top 10, Pro Top 100. Your card shows everywhere: leaderboard, podium, profile, shared image. In game, a new game bar carries your card and your shakers, whose button turns into the clock of their effect.

Lucky wheel: the number of spins left today is now shown, every spin pays out what it lands on, and you can keep going with bonus videos. Ranked: its Sunday closure is now clearly announced. Combos: bigger, brighter display, in your theme's colours. Subscribers: no more ad banners. Smoothness: the flashing and vanishing scenery on the new arenas is fixed.

An ad banner could stay on screen for a whole session for a subscriber, and the app treated you as a free player while it worked out your subscription at every launch. It now remembers your subscription between launches, shows no ads until it has an answer, and retries when the server did not reply.

Two close buttons did not announce themselves to screen readers: the shop's said it in French whatever your language, and the Challenge panel's said nothing at all. Fixed in all six languages.

A forgotten password is no longer a lost account: the link sits under the sign-in form.
The shop buys in a single operation, on the server: no more double charge on a double tap.
A tournament attempt earned by watching an ad shows up right away. The wheel credits your prize at the spin, and the login streak drops honestly when you miss a day.
A score the server refuses or loses is announced instead of vanishing silently.
Ad consent is requested at first launch where the law requires it, and your choices can be reopened from the legal notices. No interstitial drops during a rewarded ad or a payment anymore.
Settings and legal notices open from your profile, and the update and error screens speak your six languages.

The total points leaderboard was showing zero for everyone. That's fixed.
And so it can't happen silently again: the app now checks that the leaderboards it receives are usable before showing them. When they aren't, it goes and fetches the real ones from the source.

Play with your thumb
A new setting: slide left and right to aim, up and down to rotate your shape. No lifting your finger, no reaching for a button.
Every game, in detail

Game over
The screen takes the colors of your universe and the tone of your mode.
Also
• Settings close properly on small screens
• The lucky wheel no longer replays itself
• Shaker buttons are easier to hit
• The login bonus shows up instantly

Pick your music
A dedicated selector in the settings: keep the current universe's mood, force the track you want, or play in silence.
Every score counts
Some games were wrongly rejected and vanished without a trace — no score, no leaderboard, no N'Joy. This is fixed, and the lost games have been restored.
Electric Force
The lightning now follows the piece instead of trailing behind it, and the skin stays smooth even when the board fills up.
Also
• Daily and weekly records in the Daily Info cards
• Pro Tournament titles are finally awarded to the winners
• End-of-game sharing: avatar and invite link fixed
• "New record" no longer shows on your very first game
• Less waiting after a rewarded ad

What's new in this version:
• The drop zone now accounts for the shape AND its angle: positions the game used to refuse are given back.
• Achievements now say what they actually measure, and Challenge wins are finally counted.
• Video rewards are granted by the ad network, server-side: they are no longer lost if the game freezes when the ad closes.
• Purchases and subscriptions verified directly with the App Store.
7.7.14 Aug 27
An ad that stayed on a black screen used to freeze the app until you killed it. The watchdog was cancelled the moment the ad claimed to be showing — true of an ad that shows, false of one that only says it does. It now hands control back, always.
Your profile shows where your N'Joy come from. Every gain and every spend recorded by the server, with its date: referrals, tournaments, challenges, quests and rewards. It is the record itself, not a reconstruction.
Your balance no longer flickers, and neither does the rest. A guard refused a zero balance from the server, so the same account could show two amounts depending on when you looked. Wheel spins, login streaks and claimed quests could also be overwritten by a not-yet-loaded local state at launch. All of it now defers to the server.
Every way of earning N'Joy is counted. Game rewards, tournaments, challenges and referrals credited your balance without recording the gain anywhere — which made a disputed balance impossible to explain.
Referrals work. Not "better": they had never once succeeded since launch.
The animated home background now pauses as soon as a panel opens — it used to keep computing behind nine screens that covered it. Less heat and less battery on long sessions. The banner no longer flickers when moving between menu and game, and a level-up is announced once instead of twice.
7.7.10 Aug 24
The sound stops swelling during a run of merges. The mix already had a ceiling, so nothing was clipping — but loudness is not the same thing as peak level. Several sounds firing at once added up to about nine decibels above a single merge, which is what "saturated" actually sounded like. The mix now reacts to how many voices are sounding, not just to how loud each one is.
The stutter during the biggest combos is gone. Each merge was updating eleven counters that nobody looks at during a game, and every one of them redrew the whole screen. During a cascade the merges land on consecutive frames, so the game was rebuilding its entire interface almost every frame for numbers only shown at the end. Two things are redrawn now: the score and the combo.
The layout is fixed on iPad. Three parts of the screen had three different width limits — 512 for the header, 768 for the arena frame, 585 for the board. On a phone they all collapse to the screen width and line up by accident; the iPad is the first screen wide enough for the disagreement to show. All three now share one width.
Sharing a score sends people to the right place. The link pointed at the App Store even when the person receiving it was on Android, where that is a dead end. It now points to the site, which offers both stores.
New: a colorblind mode. The ten levels follow a rainbow, which is the hardest possible case — under the most common form of colorblindness the first six collapse into a single shade. Turn it on and every shape carries its level number, so color is never the only thing telling them apart.
7.7.5 Aug 23
Sign-in, rebuilt underneath. Google, Apple and email now go through Firebase's own authentication layer instead of a third-party plug-in that had stopped keeping up. Fewer failed sign-ins, and a base the rest of the app can rely on.
Accounts no longer share anything on the device. Switching account used to carry over the previous one's daily quests, wheel spins and best score — a fresh account could collect rewards it had never earned. Every local value is now tied to the account that produced it, and a value with no owner is simply not written.
The update check could lock a player out of updating. It compared an iOS build number against an Android one, so a device could be told it was up to date when it was not. Each platform is now compared with its own numbering.
The sound no longer saturates. Every sample was clean on its own, but nothing bounded their sum: a cascade of merges fired several at the same instant and the output clipped — that was the crackling. The mix now has a ceiling and real headroom, and the same sound no longer stacks on top of itself.
7.7.4 Aug 22
Physics first. A piece that has settled stays settled: no more shapes drifting back into motion a second later, no more stacks coming apart on their own. It is the heaviest fix in this release.
The Sunday tournament is finally visible. A banner on the home screen says it is running and shows who leads; one tap opens the live board, with each player's attempt count. On a tie, the shapes-dropped divided by merges ratio now breaks it — one rule for every leaderboard, and it is written into the game's rules.
Leaderboards, rebuilt: four screens instead of a grid of buttons — today, this week, the tournament, and total points, where playing often counts as much as playing well. Your own position stays pinned at the bottom. Plus a statistics page: score, duration, merges, combos and jackpots, from lowest to highest, with your place marked on each.
A red beacon marks a shape that has entered the game-over zone. The shaker no longer strands pieces off-screen. In Ranked, the game-over screen stays reachable after the ranking appears.
Daily quests now sound and notify when you collect them. Profile badges appear only when there is something to claim, and say how many. Levelling up is announced in full. Interface sounds are back, calibrated.
7.7.3 Aug 17
Smoothness, merge physics, and balance.
• Heat and slowdowns: the game was repainting the screen sixty times a second even when nothing moved on the board. It no longer does. Merges are smooth again and the device stops heating up.
• Merges: shapes no longer overlap or pass through each other as they merge.
• Sound: game effects were far quieter than the music. Everything is retuned, and music now starts at a discreet level.
• Pro tournament: the reward paid out finally matches the one announced.
• A loading screen now appears between confirming a ranked attempt and the game starting. The home screen used to show in between, which read like a cancellation.
• Universes: board backdrops finally drift visibly.
• Rebalanced shop: the catalogue has to be earned.
7.7.2 Aug 8
Fixes and a rebuilt leaderboard.
• Smoother and fairer: the danger countdown now follows the game clock. A slowdown can no longer cost you a run that a merge chain had just saved.
• Sign-in fixed: if you already had an account, you can finally get back to it from a game played without one, instead of "this account is already in use".
• Leaderboard rebuilt: a podium for the top three, your position always visible even outside the top 100, the gap to the player ahead, and a countdown to the reset.
• New Elite leaderboard, based on the high-level shapes you create.
• Support reachable again, with or without an account.
• Account deletion now really erases your personal data.
7.7.1 Aug 1

• An original soundtrack for each of the seven universes
• Animated board backdrops, unique to every universe
• Separate music and sound-effect settings, with volume control
• Rebalanced level progression
