Chatable makes face-to-face conversations easier with a shared, two-sided translation screen. Place your iPhone or iPad between you, choose your languages, and take turns speaking. Each person can read the conversation from their own side. ONE-TIME LIFETIME UNLOCK Translation requires a one-time in-app purchase. There is no recurring subscription. Before purchasing, use Check device & languages to review compatibility and prepare supported translation languages. VOICE TRANSLATION, ON YOUR DEVICE Chatable uses Apple's on-device speech recognition and translation capabilities. Language support depends on the device, operating system, and available language resources. An internet connection may be needed to purchase or restore access and download language resources. Before relying on the app offline, prepare your languages and test both directions on your device. SIMPLE CONVERSATION CONTROLS - Two-sided display for face-to-face use - Live translation as you speak: tap once to start, again to stop - Read translations or play them aloud - Swap languages and reset the conversation - Review translation history stored on your device No Chatable account is required. Chatable does not send conversation audio or text to a developer-operated cloud translation service. Translation results may contain errors; confirm important information with the other person.

Chatable 3.0 brings live translation. Tap your microphone once and the translation appears on the other side as you speak, with no second tap needed. Each pause finishes a sentence while Chatable keeps listening, so it works for meetings and longer conversations. Each side's microphone shows who is talking: when the other person taps theirs, they take over and yours stops. Both halves now show the whole conversation; tap any sentence to hear it. Translations are shown as text and are no longer read aloud automatically.
