This update focuses on making your metronome more reliable than ever — especially the one thing that matters most: perfect timing. ROCK-SOLID BEAT TIMING The audio engine has been rebuilt so every click is scheduled directly into the audio hardware at the exact right moment. Beats stay perfectly even no matter what's happening on screen — animations, tempo changes, or adjusting settings mid-practice. Previously, scrolling the settings panel could even silence the metronome; now it keeps clicking flawlessly through everything. SMARTER INTERRUPTION HANDLING If a phone call, alarm, or Siri interrupts your practice, Metroknowme now stops cleanly and picks up again automatically when it should — no more silent beat indicator pulsing away with no sound. FIXES & POLISH • The play button now responds instantly after using the BPM +/- controls — no more taps that seemed to do nothing • The beat indicator now always highlights the beat you're actually hearing when changing beats per bar during playback • The large BPM and rep-count display no longer disappears while you're still tapping — it stays visible until you're done • Closing settings with X now properly discards previewed sound and accent changes; Save keeps them Thanks for practicing with Metroknowme!
