PikCal 2.0: a personalized calorie plan, water tracking, and a new Home. Photograph a meal for calories, macros and glycemic index.
Photograph your plate and PikCal estimates calories, protein, carbs, fat and glycemic index.
Type the meal if you already know what it is. Scan a barcode on a packed product and you get the Open Food Facts card, additives included.
Three photo scans a day are included. Unlimited photo analysis is PikCal Premium. Barcode logging is not limited. Meal photos go to Google or OpenAI (via OpenRouter) only after you tap Allow.
Each saved meal
Calories and macros, plus glycemic index. Micronutrients and minerals when the scan has them. Fix the portion, then pin it to breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack.
A plan that adds up
Setup ends with a calorie and macro plan calculated on your iPhone. Weight, height and age stay on the device. They are not sent to the model that writes the plan text.
The rest of the day
Home, Analytics, and a Water tab with reminders. Weight, BMI, intermittent fasting, and Apple Health if you turn them on. Optional Halal check on barcodes, run on the device.
