Grackle Talk
Spanish practice, out loud
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Grackle Talk is the Spanish practice app for students of The Language House. It turns the material you cover in class into daily speaking practice you can do anywhere.
EVERY WEEK IS OPEN FROM DAY ONE
Every week of your course is there the moment you sign in. Work ahead, go back over a week you found hard, or drop into whichever one you feel like practicing. Nothing is locked and nothing has to be unlocked for you.
PRACTICE OUT LOUD
Most Spanish apps have you tapping. This one has you talking. You say your answers, the app listens, and it answers back in Spanish you can hear.
FIVE WAYS TO PRACTICE
• Vocabulary: note cards and drills with spaced repetition and recorded audio for every word
• Verb Drills: conjugation note cards and quizzes, one tense and one theme at a time
• Live Lessons: work through a week's lessons with a tutor that speaks your feedback aloud
• Speak with a Tutor: a real-time spoken conversation, at your pace
• Hands-free: put in your earbuds and let a week's material come to you on a walk or a commute
BUILT AROUND A REAL CURRICULUM
The material follows The Language House's own Spanish course, week by week, so practice at home lines up with class instead of competing with it.
ACCESS
Grackle Talk is for students enrolled at The Language House in Austin, Texas. Your school adds your email address when you enroll, and app access is part of your enrollment. Sign in with your email address, with Google, or with Apple. There is no password to remember.

• If speech recognition isn't available on your iPhone, you can type your answers instead
• A new Grackle Talk icon
