Move an edit between Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro in both directions. Drop a timeline, choose where to save, done. Everything stays on your Mac. Project Converter Pro moves timelines between Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro, in both directions, in one app. Export your edit as XML (Final Cut Pro projects can go in as they are), drop it in, choose where to save, and open the result in the other app. Project Converter Pro reads the file to work out which way to convert, so there are no modes or settings to get wrong. WHAT COMES ACROSS • Cuts and trims, frame accurate • Clip order and track layout, video and audio • Constant speed changes • Scale, translated between each app's frame-fit rules WHAT STAYS BEHIND Effects, color grades and third-party plug-ins work differently in each app, so they aren't converted. When a conversion has to simplify something, for example a transition without enough clip handles, Project Converter Pro lists exactly what changed. No surprises when you scrub through the edit. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Runs entirely on your Mac, with no network access • No accounts, no analytics, no tracking • Sandboxed: it can only read the files you open and write where you choose BUILT FOR THE MAC • Drag and drop, or open timelines straight from Finder • Light and dark mode • Conversions run in the background, so the window never freezes • A built-in guide shows where to export and import in each app SUPPORTED FILES • Final Cut Pro: .fcpxml and .fcpxmld exports, and .fcpproj projects (including from Final Cut Pro for iPad) with no export needed • Premiere Pro: .xml (File ▸ Export ▸ Final Cut Pro XML…) Project Converter Pro converts timelines, not media. The converted file points at your existing media, so keep it where it is or relink it in the target app. If a Final Cut Pro for iPad project links to media that stayed on the iPad, choose your media folder and the clips are matched to your files by name.
