Learning often breaks at the smallest detour: opening a dictionary, switching apps, then forgetting the sentence you were reading.
AlterWorld keeps help inside the moment.
POINT AT SOMETHING YOU WANT TO NAME
Open AI Lens and photograph a real object or scene. AlterWorld gives you vocabulary, explanations, and follow-up questions tied to what you captured. The camera gives each session a clear starting point, so practice stays connected to the world around you.
KEEP YOUR PLACE IN THE BOOK
Import an EPUB or TXT file and read it on your device. Tap a word or sentence for a translation card. Long-press to save a word, then continue from the same line. AlterWorld sends only the selected text when you ask for an AI explanation; it does not upload the whole book for routine reading.
TALK TO SOMEONE WORTH KNOWING
Teacher, Buddy, Poet, Cynic, and Emo answer in distinct voices. Ask about a word, a sentence, or something in your photo. Their first job is to help you learn. Longer conversations may reveal a few curious details about who they are.
YOUR LANGUAGES, YOUR WAY
Choose the language you are learning and the language you want explanations in. AlterWorld supports English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian.
CLEAR DATA CHOICES
AI Lens sends the current photo for analysis when you use it. EPUB and TXT files are parsed on your device. Guest Mode keeps progress local; signing in lets you sync account and vocabulary data.
