Nibble! 6.10.27 brings a spoken catch-up on your feeds, Smart Tags to help you find related articles, and more ways to make Nibble your own. • Your Audio Briefing Catch up on unread stories from Trending with a short audio briefing. Hear the headlines first, then the stories behind them, written on your device with Apple Intelligence and read by Easton. Skip between stories, change the speed, or ask Siri to play your Nibble briefing. Without Apple Intelligence, the briefing reads headlines. English articles only for now. • Smart Tags Find connections across your feeds. Apple Intelligence tags new articles with the people, places, companies and other subjects they cover. Tap a tag beneath an article's title to explore related articles, search for a subject, or hide tags you don't want. Tags and hidden choices sync through iCloud, including to devices that can't generate tags themselves. • A refreshed Main Page Collections brings Trending, Snapshot, Smart Tags and Smart Folders together above your everyday Views. The old Shortcuts section is now Views, and Customize Main Page lets you choose what appears. A Nibble icon takes you back, with smoother navigation between the Main Page and your articles. • Each view, your way Give individual views their own layout, summary length, thumbnails and feed icons in Settings > Appearance > View Options. Keep layouts and list text sizes different on each device with separate sync switches. Increasing list text size now leaves the Main Page and sidebar at your system text size. • A high-quality neural voice Listen to articles with a high-quality neural voice that sounds natural and keeps its pitch at faster playback speeds. Nibble's English voice, Easton, is built in and runs entirely on your device, with no separate voice download. Playback is more reliable when you lock your phone, switch apps or resume after an interruption. Scrub article audio in the player, or seek through articles and briefings from the Lock Screen. • Reading and browsing, refined Full Text and Text & Theme are together at the top of the reader, with a headphones button for listening. Controls fit better on iPhone Duo. In split layouts on iPad and the unfolded Duo, article websites open in the reading pane, keeping your list beside them. Swipe from the browser's left edge to return to the article. Tapping the selected tab scrolls smoothly to the top. • More ways to get there New Apple Shortcuts and Siri actions open Snapshot, Trending, Today and Unread directly. This update also improves feed and folder renaming across devices, makes summaries more reliable, and improves reopening where you left off. Saved Pages starts at the top when you return to it; going Back from a saved article still keeps your place in the list.
