The best app client I’ve ever used with Frigate. The flow of how the app is set up is great and the notifications work perfectly. Tapping on the notification takes you directly to the clip and automatically plays the clip. The review section of the app is extremely detailed and is very responsive. Scrolling through all events, alerts, detections, and motions is very smooth and does not lag. You can filter and select any camera you’d like to review. You can tell that a lot of thought, research, time, most importantly common sense was put into making this. What’s even better is how responsive the develop is. They responded to all my questions through email and was very detailed and helpful. I appreciate the dev and app very much. Thank you again

Just want to say thank you to the developer for putting this app out. It’s been really helpful in making the experience even better using my new Frigate NVR system. Can’t wait to see what other features you add! Would love to have a way to tag known faces and get alerts when anyone whose face isn’t recognized as known to the system walks in front of the camera.

The support from the developer is fast and helpful. The app is nice and quite polished.
New features
- PTZ controls: Pan, tilt and zoom now appear as a compact horizontal strip on the live view for any camera that supports it.
- Reorder the default "All Cameras" group: open Camera Group Settings to drag your cameras into the order you actually want them on the dashboard.
Improvements
- Live view stays full-size with lots of activity: the camera video on the recording page no longer shrinks when many other cameras have nearby events. The lower sections scroll together as a single area.
- Recording view opens near "now": when you open the recordings for today's date, playback now starts ~30 seconds before the current time instead of midnight. Past dates still start at the beginning of the day.
- Fixes user permissions and roles so that limited users who lack access to one or more cameras are not kicked out and can still reach the dashboard on Frigate 0.17.
- MSE / MJPEG choice per camera is persisted: switching a single camera to MJPEG no longer resets to MSE every time you leave and come back. Each camera keeps its own setting on each server.
