SDS Remote puts your Uniden SDS150 & SDS200 on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

IN THE CAR
Mix and Duck keeps your music playing and turns it down while the scanner talks. Boost lifts quiet traffic over road noise, and Keep Display Awake stops the screen dimming on a dash mount.
Built for listeners who already run a scanner on the desk—and want the same view and control from the couch, the shop, the car, or anywhere else.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
We run no servers and your scanner traffic never passes through us. A hub is simply a second copy of this app on a device you own, talking directly to your other devices over a connection secured by a pairing code. Transmission logs and recordings stay on your device, and captions are produced on-device—no audio is ever uploaded. Subscriptions are handled through your Apple ID.
REQUIREMENTS
A Uniden SDS200 connected by Ethernet to your network, or a Uniden SDS150 paired over Bluetooth. Listening away from home additionally needs a second device left at home running SDS Remote as a hub, with Pro on both. Free includes one scanner and iCloud sync.
Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription with a free trial (see in-app details). Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple ID settings.
This app is well built and provides a lot of flexibility for listening and controlling your SDS200 scanner from your phone, iPad or Mac. Easy set up, had mine up and running within 10 minutes. Allows control of your scanner thru the app, and you can set your scanner volume to zero and listen just thru your phone. This isn’t a Bluetooth app it’s thru your WiFi, so as long as your scanner and phone are connected to your WiFi the app will work within your WiFi network. Very handy if you’re in the garage or yard and want to listen to your scanner. You do need to have the ability to connect your SDS200 to your router via Ethernet. Then just add the scanner thru this app using the scanners IP address as the “host”. That’s all you need to do to get up and running. Subscription required for the audio to stream to your phone app from the scanner. Subscription prices are very reasonable for what you’re getting! Loving the freedom this app has provided.
Works well with SDS200
DJBisMe
This app works well with my SDS 200. It allows me to listen remotely in another room, which is convenient.
Useless unless you pay
Onesillychicky
Saw this app on a facebook group and thought I’d try it. First, it didn’t find my scanner so I had to manually enter the ip address. That was annoying. Then I found out that you can’t hear anything unless you pay for pro or whatever. Not even a trial or anything. Pay or nothing. I’ll stick with what I’m using now. Good luck.
Developer Response
The Uniden scanners do not announce themselves in any way so yes you need to manually enter in the IP address for a SDS200. We do offer trials for the subscription.
SDS REMOTE IN CARPLAY
Pro now brings your scanner to the car. Browse favorites down to a channel, hold it with one tap, step channels from the steering wheel, and flip Quick Keys on or off, all from the CarPlay screen.
MADE FOR IPHONE DUO
Open the phone and the scanner display takes one side while the log or full keypad takes the other. Prop it up like a laptop and the display stands above the fold with the controls below. Closed, the controls line up in a side bar on the outer screen.
ALSO NEW
• Switch scanners straight from the scanner's title menu
• Boost goes higher, now up to Max, for quiet traffic over road noise
• The Lock Screen shows the channel from Multi-View, hubs, and weather mode too
• Fixed a "Failed" status that stayed up after the radio came back
• Fixed talkgroup IDs reading "TGID: TGID:"
• Web Remote keeps the PIN form open while you type
