Focusing with friends now involves less organising how to focus with friends. Seemed sensible. • Private friend invitations, clearer retries and better recovery of pending invitations. • Start a shared Classic Pomodoro without creating a saved profile first. • More control over reminders, schedules and quiet hours, with improved translations. • Clearer habit progress and safer handling of edits, archives and widget completions. • Fixes for blocking-time accounting, session controls and subscription access. The free plan now includes 2 custom habits and 25 minutes of app blocking per day, per device. Existing extra habits can be archived without losing their history. Plus unlocks unlimited habits and app blocking. • A new icon and a clearer start: choose your goals and finish your setup before meeting Plus. • Pomodoro notes now save while paused, and paused timers remember their remaining time. Even timers deserve a proper break.

EARN REAL 3D MEDALS Stickly now celebrates your consistency with a full achievements system: 51 medals across Blocking, Habits, Focus, Friends and All-round. Daily, weekly and monthly medals keep every day worth showing up for — and rare long-haul medals mark 90, 180, 270 and 365 days of real progress. • A gallery at the top of Stats — earned medals shine in 3D, locked ones show exactly what it takes • Repeatable medals count up like a trophy case (×27 and climbing) • A calm celebration moment when a medal lands, plus a share card to show it off • Medals are free for everyone ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Lock Screen blocks now run up to 12 hours — perfect for a full night • Fixed: the end-of-block alarm now rings reliably when you opt in (silent stays the default, so bedtime blocks never wake you) • The 30-minute cooldown is clearer: it ends silently, and its time doesn't count toward stats or medals • Live Activity timers now wear Stickly's signature purple • Cleaner timer controls Reminder: the free tier includes 60 minutes of real app blocking every day. Plus makes it unlimited.

Stickly just got more powerful — and a lot more colorful. • Real app blocking that holds: lock the apps that derail you in strict sessions you can't bail on — and see exactly what's blocked right now, at a glance. • A vivid new design for your habits, streaks and daily heatmap. • Do more with Plus: deep Stats & insights, the full widget gallery, accountability friends, and pro blocking — Schedules, App Limits, and custom Block Profiles (Screen Detox, Stop Doomscrolling, Gym, Deep Work, and more). • Smoother, quieter and more reliable throughout. Our biggest update yet — focus, reimagined. BLOCK PROFILES — every kind of focus, saved and ready Build a blocking setup for each part of your life and keep it forever. A "Deep Work" profile that kills social and games. "Study." "Class." "Meditation." "Gym." "Reading." Or "Screen Detox" to block everything for a clean reset. Choose your apps once, give it a name, and it's ready to fire whenever you need it — no more rebuilding the same block every single time. ONE-TAP BLOCKING — Home Screen, Lock Screen & Control Center Drop a Stickly widget wherever you like and your profiles are a single tap away. Walking into class? Tap your Class widget and the apps you chose lock instantly. Heading to the gym, sitting down to study, starting deep work, or settling in to meditate? Tap the matching profile and you're focused — no opening the app, no menus, no excuses. Your discipline, right on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Control Center. A BLOCK THAT ACTUALLY HOLDS Most app blockers cave the second you want to peek. Stickly is built for people who mean it. Once a block starts, there's no panic button and no sneaking out — but it's never a trap. There are exactly two honest ways out: wait out a free 30-minute cooldown, or use a one-time instant unlock to leave right away. That bit of friction is what finally makes focus stick. A STUNNING NEW LOOK We rebuilt the entire app around calm and clarity: a cleaner, lighter, squared-off design, refined typography, and a redesigned block screen that meets you with intention instead of guilt. Dark-mode first, beautiful in light. NEW WIDGETS & MAKE IT YOURS Fresh habit-ring and multi-habit widgets keep your streaks in sight at a glance — and you can now choose your app icon, Default or Classic. …plus a long list of refinements and fixes throughout. Focus isn't about willpower. It's about removing the choice — and Stickly removes it beautifully.

NEW: Focus together with friends. No message required. Add a friend once. After that, every invite to focus together is one tap. Your friend gets a push notification, taps Join, and your Pomodoro timers sync to the same wall-clock end. One alarm rings for both of you when the session completes. No messages to coordinate. No links to copy. Just tap → focus. WHY WE BUILT THIS The most common request we got: "I want to study with my roommate / partner / brother / friend on the other coast, but coordinating over chat is annoying." So we built it to disappear. Connect once, then it's invisible infrastructure forever. Body doubling that actually works on iPhone. Study buddy mode without the WhatsApp ping-pong. HOW IT WORKS 1. Tap Add Friend in your Friends tab. Send the one-time connect link through Messages, WhatsApp, AirDrop — wherever your friend is. They tap it once and accept the iCloud share. 2. From then on, your friend appears in your list. Tap their name. Pick a focus profile (Deep Work, Study, Workout, whatever). Tap Send. 3. Your friend gets a notification: "Roger invited you to focus." They tap Join. Both Pomodoro timers start at the same wall-clock moment. 4. Both timers stay locked together. Pause on one side, the other side pauses. End the session, the other side ends. One alarm rings on both phones when the timer hits zero. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE: DEEP FOCUS APP BLOCKER Deep Focus is now even more reliable. Block apps you can't stop opening — Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, pick your poison. When your Pomodoro session starts, Stickly blocks those apps at the system level. They won't launch until your timer ends. No willpower required. The app blocker uses Apple's Family Controls so it can't be bypassed by swiping away the timer or force-quitting Stickly. Real app blocking, not a soft warning. ALARM RELIABILITY Focus session alarms now fire exactly once, on time, on every device. We rewrote the entire alarm scheduling layer this release. The new architecture makes double-alarm bugs structurally impossible — the alarm scheduler runs through a serial actor with a cancel-all-then-schedule pattern, and a runtime assertion logs loudly if more than one alarm is ever registered at the same moment. End of double-alarm bugs forever. PRIVACY Your friend list, your habit data, your focus sessions, the invite handoff — all live entirely on Apple's iCloud private and shared databases. No third-party servers. No tracking. No backend in the loop. We've never seen your data and we never will. Friend invites use Apple's encrypted CKShare infrastructure end-to-end. Block apps without sending your usage data anywhere. PERFORMANCE Removed legacy background code paths from the previous architecture that were generating CloudKit error spam and slowing down launch. The app launches noticeably cleaner this build. CLEANER SHARE SHEET Sending the one-time connect link is now a single tap straight to the iOS share sheet — Messages, WhatsApp, AirDrop, Telegram, wherever you talk to your friends. The previous version made you wade through two Apple "Create Link" screens. Gone. WHAT'S COMING NEXT This is the foundation. Already on the next-update list: • A celebratory push notification when your friend connects • Remove a friend from your list • More focus profiles with custom apps + durations per profile • Joint streaks with explicit start/end dates — study for an exam together, train for a marathon together • Friend leaderboard (opt-in) • Block specific websites in Safari during focus sessions If you've got a feature request, tap the gear icon → Send Feedback. We read every one. Thanks for using Stickly. If you've gotten value, leaving a rating in the App Store goes a long way. Found a bug? Send Feedback — that goes straight to us, not a ticket queue.

A note from me: Thank you for every message, every email, every review you've left over the past months. v3.0.0 isn't a "while we're here, a few small fixes" update — it's the biggest overhaul Stickly has ever had, and almost every line below exists because a subscriber asked for it directly. I read everything. This is the result. Stickly v3.0.0 — Solo or Together The whole app is now built so it works perfectly on your own AND becomes something completely different the moment you invite a friend. Nothing is locked behind the social side. But if you've ever wished a habit tracker actually kept you accountable to another human, this one's for you. What's new: • Shared habits — invite anyone with one tap. You both see the same habit on your dashboards, watch each other's checkmarks land in real time, and build a JOINT streak that only survives if everyone completes it. Miss a day? The streak resets for the whole group. Brutal. Effective. • Per-habit chat — every shared habit has its own private thread with preset emoji reactions and one-tap quick texts ("nice", "where you at?") so you can cheer or call each other out without typing a paragraph. Built for accountability, not doom-scrolling. • Focus Rooms — Pomodoro that finally feels like co-working. Start a session alone like always, or share the link and have a friend lock in alongside you. You see each other's progress and break states in real time. A study partner in your pocket. • Multi-step habits — for routines with stages (3 bottles of water, 4 sets, journal morning and evening), the icon is wrapped in a segmented progress ring. Tap to advance stage by stage instead of all-or-nothing. • Apple Health auto-completion — connect a habit to Apple Health and it ticks itself off when your steps, water, mindful minutes, sleep hours, or workout minutes pass the goal. Set it and forget it. • A real Friends tab — pending invites, friends list, joint streaks, and group activity in one place. No more digging through context menus. • Stats overhaul — joint streak leaderboards, per-friend comparisons, weekly trend charts, and a Premium Insights chip with the data the nerds kept asking for. • Redesigned cards, new icon options, smoother animations, a far snappier sync layer, and 40+ small bug fixes I stopped counting somewhere in March. New pricing: Monthly $1.99 · Yearly $9.99 · Lifetime $14.99 A lifetime unlock for less than a coffee in some cities. Stickly should be affordable to keep, not a subscription you forget you're paying for. — Built by one indie dev shipping between LAX and BCN. Feedback goes to Settings → Send Feedback — I really do read every message, and most of v3.0.0 came directly from those threads. More updates, features and devices to use this app on soon.
