Whispie: Wake Windows & Sleep
Baby tracker & nap schedule
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Whispie shows your baby's next sleep time before the yawn. Log feeds, sleep and diapers with one tap, see wake windows for your baby's age, and share the day with your partner.
NEXT SLEEP TIME
Whispie tracks how long your baby has been awake and shows when the next nap is due, on the home screen and on your lock screen. Turn on a reminder before it: 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes ahead, you choose. Next sleep and feeding times are free for your first 3 active days, then with Whispie Premium. Premium also shows the estimated wake-up time while your baby sleeps. Sleep times start from about 9 weeks; before that you see the day's totals.
PREGNANCY TO PARENTHOOD
One app, the whole journey. Track your pregnancy week by week, then switch seamlessly to baby mode the day your little one arrives.
VACCINATION REMINDERS
Keep your baby's routine vaccination dates in one place, based on your country's schedule, and get a reminder before each one.
SLEEP COACH (Premium+)
A personalized sleep plan built around your baby's age and real data. No rigid methods. Step by step, without pressure.
MEMORY JOURNAL (photos with Premium)
First smile. First word. First steps. A few lines and a photo — your year-end memory book writes itself.

more Whispie now opens more calmly.
• Pop-ups no longer pile up when you open the app; in the morning, last night's summary comes first.
• While the sleep window is open, the lock screen and widget say the same as the app: "Now · until ~09:43".
• The yearly plan now shows its monthly equivalent and how much you save.
• You can read the first part of locked articles, and search opens that preview too.
• Translation fixes in many languages, including how your baby's name appears.
• Small fixes.
4.4.7 9h ago
Inviting your partner is now easier.
• The invitation message now starts with the link to tap. On the first screen, Whispie now offers to use the invitation you came with.
• If the app closes during setup, you continue where you left off.
• During a trial or subscription, predictions no longer show as locked by mistake.
• The first estimate now appears on slow connections too.
• Small fixes.
4.4.6 1d ago
Invitations now open in the right place.
• A friend’s invite link now opens Whispie when you have the app installed.
• The invitation QR code in Memory Book now opens the right invitation, or the Whispie website if the other person doesn’t have the app yet.
• Small fixes.
4.4.5 4d ago
Improvements for pregnancy and family.
• During pregnancy, the Premium screen now shows the pregnancy features: questions for your doctor, test results, your appointment report, breathing and yoga.
• The invite you send your partner now includes the code and the app link, and tapping “Have an invitation code?” fills in a code you copied.
• A sleep you started without a connection can now be ended later, and feeds you log offline are no longer lost.
• Every notification in your inbox now opens the right screen.
• Small fixes.
4.4.4 5d ago
Fixes for nights and solid foods.
• Good morning check: if a night sleep is still open in the morning, a gentle notification asks whether your baby is awake — tap “Woke up” to close the night without opening the app.
• A night sleep you forgot to end is no longer saved as a short nap: it now closes with a typical night length for your baby’s age.
• Solid food entries logged without a connection keep their food list, and an entry that had gone missing from your history appears again.
• The list shown when your free trial ends now matches exactly what changes for your account.
• Small fixes.
4.4.3 6d ago
A lock-screen card that lasts through the night.
• The lock-screen card now stays through the night: it renews itself when you open the app or log from the lock screen, and if iOS ends it, a new one appears the next time you open Whispie.
• A tap on the lock screen no longer makes the card disappear.
• Swiped the card away? It stays away until you log the next sleep, wake-up or feed.
• The sleep window countdown no longer jumps back once the window opens, and today’s plan keeps the nap that is due now.
• Purchases: if you have just started a free trial, you no longer see a discount offer.
• Small fixes.
4.4.2 Oct 18
Notifications you choose, and support for babies born early.
• Sleep and wake-up heads-ups: pick how many minutes before you want them (5–30 min). Wake-up times come only from your baby’s own logs. Prediction notifications are part of Premium after the first days.
• The sleep notification now names the same sleep window you see in the app (e.g. 14:05–14:30).
• Choose when to be reminded after the last diaper (2, 3 or 4 hours), and set your own quiet hours.
• Far fewer “come back” messages.
• Born early? Add it in your baby’s profile: sleep, development and WHO growth charts follow the corrected age until age 2. Vaccines stay on the real age.
• When your baby arrives, Whispie now asks for the birth date and time.
• Today’s bottle total on the feeding screen.
• WHO growth charts are now free.
• Articles now lead to the matching part of the app, plus four new ones: wake windows, growth percentiles, how much milk, and corrected age.
• Fixes: on some iPhones notifications and the lock-screen card stopped arriving; an invite code could get lost while setting up; “Woke up” on the lock screen was sometimes not saved.
• Purchases: if a subscription is on another account, we now say so and name how that account signs in; the free trial is shown only when your Apple Account can use it.
4.4.1 Oct 16
The lock-screen card now keeps up even when Whispie is closed.
• On some iPhones the card could stop updating until you opened the app, so the sleep window, “window passed” and “Did your baby fall asleep?” arrived late. It now updates on time.
4.3.9 Oct 12
Whispie now asks before it assumes.
• The window passed and nothing is logged? Whispie asks “Did your baby fall asleep?” – on the home screen, the lock screen and the widget – and adds the sleep at the right time.
• The sleep window follows your baby’s own rhythm and shows until when to try.
• In the morning, add last night in three taps: bedtime, wakings, morning. A night that is only half logged is no longer compared with the norm.
• The lock screen and the widget show the same times as the app.
• Fixes: entries made offline could be lost; Delete account in Settings did not respond; ending a sleep could fail after several lock-screen taps; a double tap on the lock screen now counts once.
4.3.8 Oct 11
Easier to fix a time, and a plan that follows your baby.
• Change the time of any sleep or feed: tap the time, or tap the entry on the timeline. On iPhone the time picker is now the familiar wheel.
• Home now shows the next nap first, at the same time as Today's plan. With Premium, the plan learns your baby's own day: naps, bedtime and where feeds fit.
• What is the WhiSpot? Tap ⓘ: it's when your baby is likely readiest for sleep — a time to try, not a promise.
• Ending a sleep at night takes one tap; the details are there if you want them.
• Invite your partner in one tap, and see when they've logged something.
• Solid foods in your language, and you can add your own.
• Reminders follow your real time zone, including clock changes.
4.3.7 Oct 10
Your entries arrive, wherever you log them.
• Entries you add without internet now reach your other devices and your partner once you're back online.
• A late tap from the lock screen or widget no longer ends the wrong sleep or stops a running timer.
• Fixed a glitch when closing the feeding screen.
• When a trial starts, the screen now says plainly what it includes.
4.3.6 Oct 3
• The app icon now looks right on your Home Screen. On some iPhones it appeared as a small logo on a black square.
• Starting a free trial or a subscription is more reliable. The app no longer shows an error while Apple's payment window is still open.
• The emergency button on the family screen now calls your country's emergency number. It used to always call 112.
• Small improvements and fixes.
4.3.5 Sep 30
• Today's plan: after a few quick questions, see your baby's whole day — naps, feeds, bedtime and night feeds — based on your baby's age and your answers. It updates every time you log.
• One-tap timer on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island (iOS 17 or later): start a sleep or a breastfeed, switch sides or stop, without opening the app. Free for everyone.
• The calendar shows the plan from your first day.
• Under 9 weeks there are no clock times yet, and the app explains why. The newborn summary now covers the last 24 hours instead of today.
• If a nap was left running, the app asks whether your baby is still asleep.
• Fixes: a sleep entered in the evening during setup is now saved as night sleep, the app no longer shows the sign-in screen when it reopens, and the subscription screen works as expected during a free trial.
4.3.4 Sep 29
• Vaccination schedules for the countries we support were checked against official national sources and updated. Vaccine names and dates now appear in your language.
• Reminders on vaccine days. Premium adds a reminder the day before, Premium+ three days before.
• Vaccines dated before you added the schedule now show "No information" instead of overdue. Mark them done in one tap.
• At the end of setup you can add your country's official schedule in one tap. Changing country asks whether to keep the previous schedule.
• For babies under 4 months, the night wake-up estimate now points to the next wake-up for a feed, not the morning (Premium).
• Small improvements and fixes.
4.3.3 Sep 28
Notifications that finally do what they say.
• Tapping a notification on iPhone now opens the screen it's about. Before, it only opened the app.
• Your first sleep prediction can remind you: tap "Remind me" and Whispie nudges you 15 minutes before the sleep window.
• New parents get sleep-window reminders in their first week, on the free plan too.
• Starting a free trial now shows when you'll be reminded and when it would renew, so there's no need to cancel early just to be safe.
• When you stop sharing a baby with someone, their access now ends completely.
• Premium+ reminders now arrive with the right timing, including diaper reminders, and the cancellation question no longer keeps coming back.
4.3.2 Sep 24
Two fixes for things that failed quietly.
• An entry waiting on the phone could be refused by the server and offered again on every sync, forever. It never arrived and nothing said so. It now stops after a few attempts and is flagged, and entries left behind by a different account are recognised rather than retried.
• A single out-of-range number could cost a whole prediction, leaving the home screen empty with no explanation. The value is kept in range now instead of the prediction being lost.
4.3.1 Sep 19
Whispie now keeps a health log — what happened, not only what is due.
• Record a temperature or a dose of medicine, at the time you gave it.
• Everyone who shares the baby sees who recorded what. A dose given at 9pm is there when the other parent opens the app at 11.
• Set your own interval and the app counts down to the next dose, then reminds whoever gave the last one.
• When a new fever starts, it shows what you did last time: the readings, the doses and their times, and how long it lasted.
• A Health section in Insights holds every episode and the full history. Entries can be corrected or deleted.
It records and reflects. It does not advise — no thresholds, no suggested doses, no suggested intervals.
Also fixed:
• Overdue feeding and diaper reminders were measured against the wrong clock, and outside UTC could arrive late or not at all.
• A sleep that crossed midnight was filed under the following night.
• A wake time in the future could lose the entry.
• The "personalized" label now reflects whether your baby's own data was used, not whether you subscribe.
4.3.0 Sep 18
The coach now works before six months, and sleep predictions read your recent weeks instead of every night you have ever logged.
• Under six months there was no plan at all — sleep training does not begin until then. Now there is one: day and night contrast, morning light, an evening wind-down timed to your own sunset, a steady routine, then putting down awake. It tells you which step you are on and whether it is working.
• The coach's bedtime is now the healthiest one for your baby's age, adjusted for the season where you live — not a copy of the bedtime you already keep. It moves you there fifteen minutes a night instead of asking for the whole change tonight.
• A four-month-old is no longer predicted from how they slept at one month.
• The readiness percentage follows your baby's own bedtime now. It was anchored to midnight for everyone, whatever time they slept.
• An entry could fail to save while the app told you it had worked. It now says so, and offers to try again.
• Upgrading a subscription could leave the screen stuck on "Processing your purchase…". Fixed.
4.2.46 Sep 17
One fix, for feeds that cross midnight.
• A feed whose end looked earlier than its start — 23:40 to 00:10 — was refused and lost. It saves now.
4.2.45 Sep 9
Mostly about entries that were going missing.
• A feed saved without an end time is no longer refused — those were being lost without a word
• Closing a sheet while it saved no longer hides what you just logged
• The first launch now asks about feeding and diapers too, so your first prediction starts from a real day
• Voucher codes can now be redeemed in Settings
4.2.44 Sep 6
Fixes, most of them from watching how the app is actually used.
• Milestone celebrations no longer come back after you've seen them — and arrive one at a time, not in a pile
• The weight field reads grams as grams: type 3500 and 3.5 kg is saved
• Notifications in the bell finally have a name and an icon
4.2.43 Sep 2
This release is all fixes.
• The quick bottle and solid food buttons now save — they never once did, from the day they shipped
• Feeding, diaper and solid food lists no longer go stale after a brief drop in connection
• Premium no longer flickers back to free for a moment
• And in the first two months, notifications no longer name a wake time
4.2.42 Aug 29
New: a morning summary.
• When the night is over: how much sleep it added up to, and how many wake-ups
• The first two months too — newborn sleep comes in fragments, and now all of it counts
• Wake times learn from your baby's own naps in a day, not a week
• When we don't know yet, we don't name a time
Also: reminders that reported impossible gaps, and notifications that could never apply in the first two months, are fixed.
4.2.41 Aug 27
New: the Nutrition Guide, in the Health tab.
• Foods suited to your baby's stage, and what to avoid
• 15 allergens tracked automatically from what you log — the EU's fourteen, plus buckwheat
• Record a reaction: symptoms, severity, date and a photo. It joins the doctor report.
• 200 new foods, five new kitchens: Korean, Southeast Asian, Eastern European, Nordic, Central European
Also an allergen tag on your feeding history, and various fixes.
4.2.40 Aug 24
Pregnancy mode is finally pregnancy mode — notifications, home
screen, widgets and lock screen talk about your weeks, not about
a baby.
Short feeds and back-dated entries now save in full.
Your reports stay saved — come back to them any time.
Save a milestone to your memory book with one tap.
"Retry" for records that couldn't sync — anything stuck on
your device can now be recovered.
Plus many small refinements. Sleep well
4.2.39 Aug 22
Whispie now opens more calmly.
