Three big new features: Coffee Wrapped — your personal stats recap with totals, top cafes, and your flavor profile; a shareable check-in card to post your favorite coffee moments; and a Cafe Passport Map showing every cafe you've visited with pins scaled by visit count. Premium unlocks the full experience — the complete Passport map and the full flavor cloud. This release also includes a round of accessibility, security, and stability improvements.

This update adds an About page where you can learn the story behind Cafe Connections. We've improved accessibility for screen reader users, strengthened privacy protections, and fixed an issue where deleting a check-in briefly showed a blank detail screen.

Smoother sign-in experience

You can now control how far the cafe search reaches when checking in. A new "Check-in Search Distance" slider in Advanced Filters lets you expand the search from 10 miles up to 25 miles. Also includes storage optimization improvements.

CafeConnections 1.5.0 introduces a completely redesigned badge system with 28 illustrated badges across tiered progression levels. You can now tap on cheer names to visit other users' profiles. This release also includes internal improvements including display optimizations, keyboard handling fixes, and performance optimizations across both platforms.

Fixed an issue where switching to Google Maps would show fewer coffee shops in busy areas. The app now correctly narrows its search radius in dense neighborhoods to find nearby shops. Check-in search has been upgraded with smarter location-based filtering. Search results now prioritize nearby cafes for more accurate results. Several UX refinements make finding and checking in to your favorite cafes smoother than ever.

Cafe visits now track two dates: when you visited and when you shared the memory. This makes it easier to organize your cafe experiences chronologically while still capturing when you actually added them to the app.
