Snow piles on your windows
Only for Mac
Free
Mac
New: snow settles on top of your open windows, and the effect can follow the real weather outside. Snow Focus is also far lighter on memory.
Turn your workspace into a quiet retreat with Snow Focus. From still winter snow to drifting cherry blossoms, bring a seasonal mood to your desktop and switch it on or off right from the menu bar.
New in 1.1
Snow on Your Windows: snow settles on the top edges of your open windows and shakes off when you move them. No screen recording permission needed.
Real Weather: when it's snowing or raining where you are, your screen follows.
Key Features
Smart Idle Mode: snow starts falling when you step away from your Mac and disappears the moment you return. Choose the wait time: 1, 5, 10, or 30 minutes.
Focus Cycle (Pomodoro): 25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute break, and a 15-minute long break every fourth round. A light snow begins 15 minutes into a focus session, breaks start with a heavy flurry that fades away, and long breaks throw a rainbow party.
Interactive Wind: move your mouse and nearby flakes and petals drift away as if blown by the wind.
Themes: pick Snow, Cherry Blossom, or Rain to match your mood.
Always-On Mode: keep the atmosphere running while you work.
Lightweight: a rebuilt renderer keeps memory use low.
Weather data comes from Apple Weather. Your approximate location is used only to look up the weather and is never stored.
