Items you need to REMEMBER
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
4,000 photos in you camera roll? 12 are people you love! The rest? Receipts, screenshots, docs. Kluegr. gives them a home — Intelligently tagged and findable in seconds.
Kluegr. — Your Visual Memory
4,000 photos on your phone. Maybe 12 are of people you love. The rest? Receipts, screenshots, parking signs, and that Wi-Fi password from the hotel in Aarhus. Your camera roll is for family and friends. Kluegr. is for everything else.
We all save things we want to remember. But they vanish into folders, never to be seen again. Kluegr. fixes that — for good.
HOW IT WORKS
Save a photo, screenshot, or document. Kluegr.'s AI instantly analyzes it — recognizing text, objects, brands, and context — and tags it automatically. When you need it, just search. That's it. No folders. No filing. No "where did I put that?" NO SCROLLING :)
CAPTURE ANYTHING
• Snap a photo or import from your camera roll
• Scan multi-page documents with your camera
• Import PDFs and files
• Share directly from any app
FIND IT INSTANTLY
Search by what's in the image — not what you named it. That restaurant menu? Search "menu". That product from Instagram? Search the brand. Kluegr. searches AI tags, OCR text, and your own tags all at once. If it's in there, you'll find it.
NEVER FORGET
Set reminders on any saved item. That deal that expires Friday? The recipe you'll "definitely try this weekend"? The birthday gift idea you had in the shower? Kluegr. remembers so you don't have to.
SCAN & ORGANIZE DOCUMENTS
Scan receipts, invoices, and multi-page documents with your camera. Kluegr. detects edges, corrects perspective, and extracts all the text — making every document fully searchable. Your paperwork finally has its life together, even if you don't - even merge existing...
BUILT DIFFERENT
No ads. No tracking. No data selling. No BS. Indie-built, privacy-first, and designed to last. We believe your stuff is your stuff — and the best app is one that works for you, not on you.
YOUR DATA, YOUR DEVICE
Everything lives on your device and iCloud. No account required. No third-party cloud uploads. Your visual memory stays yours.

more The X button now closes things. This is our second attempt at that sentence, and we have grown as people.
Snap it, save it, find it. Kluegr.
1.8.4 Aug 23
The X in the corner. You tapped it. Nothing happened. You tapped it again, slightly harder, as if force were the issue. Still nothing. It turns out we built it at a size best described as theoretical, then parked it in the one corner of your screen your thumb cannot actually reach. It is now a normal size in a normal place, and it closes things. Revolutionary stuff. Swipe down still works too, for those of you who gave up on the X months ago and quietly moved on.
Subscription housekeeping. Some of you cancelled Pro and kept every Pro feature anyway, indefinitely, for free. You were not told this. We were also not told this. It has been resolved, and we are choosing to call it "resolved" rather than use the several more accurate words available.
Small refinements we would rather not draw attention to, having drawn quite enough already.
Remember everything. Find anything. And now? Close the window correctly :)
1.8.3 Aug 22
You shared five photos. We saved one.
We have investigated this internally. It turns out our code was counting in a manner best described as optimistic. It has now been taught to count like an adult. All five photos arrive. You should not have to be grateful for this, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Snooze now actually snoozes.
Previously you could tap "Snooze" on a reminder from your lock screen, and we would — with tremendous confidence — do absolutely nothing. The button worked fine. The saving part did not. This has been corrected. We would prefer not to discuss it further.
Other small improvements, which we will not list, as listing them would imply we consider them impressive.
Remember everything. Find anything. Expect nothing.

Kluegr. 1.8.1 — Now with 100% fewer ghosts :)
Deleted stuff stays deleted. Search used to keep showing your deleted items like a clingy ex who "was just in the neighborhood." We sat it down. It's moved on. Your Receipts total no longer haunts you either.
Found the missing shares. A few photos you shared were quietly hiding in a digital sock drawer instead of showing up in your library. We found them. They're home now. They've been fed.
Behind-the-scenes tidying you'll never see but will absolutely feel — like when someone finally reorganizes the junk drawer.
Remember everything. Find anything. (Except the deleted things. Those we now correctly forget. That was kind of the whole point.)
1.8.1 Jul 28
Tap a photo. Watch it open. Tap again. Watch it go back. We spent an embarrassing amount of time making that feel exactly right, and honestly, it was worth it.
The good stuff:
Photos now open with a proper hero animation — expands from the grid, collapses back. Like Apple Photos, but it's ours now.
Pinch the grid to get more or fewer columns. Yes, both directions work. We checked.
Deleted something by accident? It goes to Recently Deleted for 60 days before it's actually gone. You're welcome.
Items waiting to be analysed by AI now have a subtle pulsing border. So you know something is happening, even if it takes a moment.
The less glamorous stuff:
Fixed a bug where tapping "Add Tags" closed everything. That was annoying. Sorry.
The camera button no longer floats over your photos like it owns the place.

Kluegr now feels like it belongs on your iPhone.
• Tap to focus — tap any image to go fully immersive. Tap again to bring back the controls. Just like Photos.
• Swipe down to close — feels natural, works perfectly.
• Info panel — tap ⓘ to see all details, tags, and metadata in a clean slide-up panel.
• Sticky date headers — your library stays organised as you scroll, with floating date sections just like Apple Photos.
• Context menu previews — press and hold any image in the grid for a live preview with quick actions.
• Haptics — subtle feedback throughout that makes the whole app feel more alive.

A big polish update — lots of small things that were quietly annoying, now fixed.
Your library now backs up to iCloud automatically — reinstall the app and everything comes back
Sort button is right there in the toolbar, no more digging through menus
AI descriptions are now expandable — tap "Show more" to read the full analysis
Reminder badge in the detail view is now tappable
Platform filters actually filter now (they were just searching before)
Receipt amounts show in your local currency format
Tags section only appears when you have tags
Post-save screen now has a proper Skip button
Settings cleaned up — clearer labels, less clutter
And we already excited to keep getting better :)
Less noise. More memory.

We got Kluegr.
The app swipe now act, as a normal app :) yes, we know... We pressed a few wrong buttons, but we got Kluegr.
Images now display in library without being squeezed.
Enjoy.

Pad? We heard you like screen real estate
Kluegr on iPad used to look like an iPhone app having an identity crisis on a big screen. Now it's got a proper sidebar, a glorious 5-column grid, and a detail view that actually uses all that expensive screen space. Settings lives in the sidebar where it belongs — no more duplicate buttons cluttering up the place.
Swipe through your items like Instagram
Open any image and swipe up/down to browse through your entire library without going back to the grid. Left/right is still reserved for multi-page documents. It's smooth, it's fast, and it's dangerously addictive. Don't blame us if you lose 20 minutes.
Share PDFs from Mail
"Why can't I share this PDF?" — literally everyone, until now. PDFs from Mail, Files, or anywhere else go straight into Kluegr. Every page rendered, tagged, and searchable. Invoices, contracts, that recipe your mom emailed — all welcome.
Share links too
We had URL sharing "supported" but it... didn't actually work. Like a bicycle with no pedals. Fixed. Share a link from Safari or Mail and it lands safely in Kluegr.
Smarter image compression
Big camera photos used to silently fail because they were too thicc for our AI. Now we progressively shrink them — quality first — until they fit. Your originals stay untouched. Zero tags? Never again.
Background tag refresh
When you open the app, we quietly revisit recent items that got weak tags. New tags get added, old ones stay. Free AI upgrade every time you launch. You're welcome.
1.5.1 Mar 24
iPad? Oh yes, iPad.
Kluegr finally feels at home on the big screen. Sidebar navigation, 5-column grid, and a detail view that doesn't hijack your entire display. It's like going from a studio apartment to a penthouse. Same stuff, way more room.
Tags are back from the dead
Our AI tagging took a surprise holiday. It came back tanned, confused, and only guessing background colors. We've staged an intervention. Tags are now sharp, detailed, and actually useful again. Your glasses screenshots will say "Ray-Ban" instead of "beige."
Smarter image handling
Giant camera photos no longer silently fail. We progressively compress until your photo fits — quality first, size second. Your originals stay untouched. Always.
Background tag refresh
On launch, we quietly revisit recent items that might have weak tags. New tags get added, old ones stay. Think of it as a free AI upgrade, on the house.
Tak for jeres støtte — vi ses derude!

Well... The last version... Was almost done... Zoom on images now actually works :)
Enjoy - we know we will :)
1.4.4 Mar 18
Tags that actually work again :)
Remember when our tags were smart? Like, really smart? Well, they took a little vacation. Went somewhere warm, stopped reading your photos, and just guessed "blue background" on everything. We've had a serious talk with them. They're back, they're motivated, and they can now tell the difference between Ray-Ban Aviators and your lunch photo again. You're welcome.
Pro users: No more teasing :)
If you're paying for Pro, you shouldn't have to see that "free images remaining" counter flash on your screen like an ex texting at 2am. It appeared for one second, just enough to annoy you, then disappeared. Gone. Completely. As it should be.
Zoom & Pan: Now with actual movement :)
You could zoom in on your images before. Great. But you could only zoom straight into the center. Like staring through a keyhole. Now you can actually move around while zoomed in. Revolutionary? Maybe not. Useful? Absolutely. Finding that tiny price tag on a product photo just got a whole lot easier.
Behind the scenes :)
We gave our servers a strong cup of coffee and a firm handshake. Everything is running smoother, faster, and with fewer existential crises.
As always — tak for at bruge Kluegr.
1.4.3 Mar 18
We switched AI providers. Why? Because who powers your app matters — not just how well it works, but what it stands for.
Smarter search, fewer headaches:
Search now understands compound words. Type "lomme regner" or "lommeregner" — same result. Your typos? Also covered. We don't judge.
Multilingual by nature:
Search works across languages. Save a photo in Copenhagen, find it by searching in English. Or Danish. Or both. No translation step, no delay.
Simpler, faster, more private:
One fewer API call per photo. Faster analysis. Fewer hands touching your data.
Values matter:
We moved away from OpenAI. Screaming Donkey Studio believes in Less Noise — and that includes the political kind.
Less Noise. More finding things.
1.4.2 Mar 1
Search got a brain transplant
We replaced the entire search engine. It now actually understands what you're looking for — in any language. Search "bil" and find your car. Search "Einladung" and find that invitation. We're not saying the old search was bad. We're saying it's been asked to leave.
Search Language picker
Your phone thinks you speak German because you live in Berlin. You don't. Well, you do, but not when searching for your stuff. Pick your preferred search language in Settings and never argue with your GPS again.
Typo tolerance
Search "bycicle" and still find your bicycle. Because spelling is hard and we don't judge. Much.
Smarter AI analysis
Photos are now analyzed by a significantly more intelligent AI. It sees more, tags better, and actually knows what a croissant looks like. The previous AI has been promoted to retirement.
Tidier menu
The + button now makes sense. Take Photo on top, like a civilized app.
1.4.1 Feb 27
As any Dane knows, trust is not given — it is earned slowly, over many cups of coffee, and even then, you should probably still be suspicious.
iCloud is no different.
When we first asked iCloud to sync our data, it simply... didn't. No error. No explanation. Just silence. Very Danish of it, really. We respected that.
So we did what any reasonable Scandinavian developer would do: we sat quietly, stared at the console logs, and waited for iCloud to come around on its own terms. You cannot rush these things. You cannot rush a Dane, and you certainly cannot rush a cloud service owned by a trillion-dollar company that has decided your data is fine where it is, thank you.
After several days of polite debugging — never raising our voice, never blaming iCloud directly (that would be uncomfortable) — we discovered the issue. Our app extension was introducing itself as version 1.1 while the main app was already on 1.3. Naturally, iCloud wanted nothing to do with this family dysfunction. Fair enough.
We aligned the versions. Then we aligned them again when we bumped to 1.4, because apparently we enjoy this.
iCloud now syncs. Not because it wants to. Not because it's happy about it. But because we followed every rule, filed every entitlement, matched every version string, and left it absolutely no excuse.
This is the Danish way. You don't win through enthusiasm. You win through quiet, relentless compliance until the system gives up and lets you through.
Skål.

Search got smarter. Way smarter.
You know that feeling when you save a picture of a street light and later search "gadelys" but Kluegr .just stares at you like a confused golden retriever? Yeah, we fixed that.
Multilingual Search Intelligence
Kluegr now understands that "gadelys", "street light", "réverbère", and "路灯" are all the same thing. Save in any language. Search in any language. We don't judge. (Ok, we judge a little if you screenshot TikToks at 3am. But we still index them.)
Semantic Vector Search
We gave Kluegr a 768-dimensional brain. It doesn't just match words anymore — it understands meaning. Search "cozy dinner" and find that pasta recipe you saved from Pinterest three months ago. Search "sko" and find those sneakers from Instagram. It's like having a Danish librarian who also speaks 40 other languages and never takes a hygge break.
GPS Context
When you scan or photograph something, Kluegr. now quietly notes where you are. Not in a creepy way. In a "oh you're in Denmark, let me add Danish search terms" way. Totally different.
The Technical Bit (for the nerds)
Hybrid search: text matching + vector similarity ranking
Gemini-powered embeddings for language-agnostic semantic search
All existing items still work perfectly (your 847 screenshots of furniture are safe)
Zero breaking changes. Your grandmother's iPad won't explode.
Does it work for screenshots from French Instagram posts saved by a Chinese user living in Denmark?
Yes. We specifically tested that. Don't ask why.
Built with kærlighed in Denmark by Screaming Donkey Studio.

We got Kluegr. While you where snapping photos to remember, we made sure, that you iCloud sync is working correctly for pro users.
1.2 Feb 22
The X button now closes things. This is our second attempt at that sentence, and we have grown as people.
Snap it, save it, find it. Kluegr.
