Lingr is a minimalist macOS menubar app that keeps your oldest unresolved thought always visible. It is not a task manager. It is externalized working memory. Lingr gives unfinished thoughts a place to live so they stop occupying your head. Instead of reminders, deadlines, or notifications, Lingr uses quiet presence. What lingers stays visible until you deal with it. The app lives in your menu bar and shows your oldest active item directly at the top of your screen. This creates gentle awareness without pressure or distraction. How it works Lingr runs in the macOS menu bar. Your oldest active item is always visible. You can add a new item instantly using a global keyboard shortcut. When an item is no longer relevant, mark it as done and it disappears quietly.
