What’s new in Local Radar 1.12.0 You can now help us improve Local Radar. In the new “Contribute to Local Radar” section, you can: • report a new event; • report an error in a listing; • suggest an improvement. We’ve also improved the accuracy of distance-based content and the way Guides and itineraries are handled, providing information that better reflects the actual starting point. Local Radar takes a big step forward! Health & Wellbeing and Mobility now bring together events, news, offers and local information, from prevention and on-duty pharmacies to ferries and traffic updates. Itineraries guide you step by step, showing benches, water, toilets and path surfaces. Discover places near events and organisers' Instagram profiles. We've also improved maps, event pages and the reliability of notifications for your area.

An important update for Local Radar. We have introduced Local Info, improved the accuracy of location and distance calculations, refined Tourist and Resident modes, and improved the management of events taking place on multiple dates. There are also improvements to offers, hospitality, social links and local content. We have also worked on performance, stability and image handling to make the app smoother and more reliable.

Faster Tourist Mode We improved Tourist Mode loading times: attractions and itineraries are now available much faster thanks to preloading and local cache support. Merchant fixes Fixed an issue preventing some approved merchants from uploading images and publishing offers, events and content. Admin panel improvements Fixed an issue that prevented pending moderation offers from loading correctly.

Discover Feed – More Responsive Attraction LoadingWhen enabling the "Attractions" or "Itineraries" toggle in the preferences panel, a subtle progress bar now immediately appears in the AppBar to indicate that data is being fetched. Previously, there was no visual feedback, making it seem as though nothing was happening. Additionally, the attraction and itinerary cache now automatically pre-warms as soon as the preferences panel is opened, ensuring the data is already prepared by the time the toggle is activated — significantly reducing wait times.Loading Stability FixFixed a rare edge case where the loading bar would remain visible indefinitely if the attractions toggle was quickly toggled on and off. The state is now correctly reset in all scenarios, including mid-operation stream cancellations.
