Each project stays separate when you apply a theme, reopen the app or import a design. Change the font and color of selected words, with the color button above the keyboard. Android projects keep their mixed fonts and colors. Custom-size exports now match your design, even with the number pad open. Double-tap a text to type, drag small text more easily, and the design stays still while you move a layer. Sticker filters no longer cover your picture, Android projects keep their letter spacing, and reopened projects are centered. "Report an ad" sends the full report form.

• Find text and image settings more easily with focused editing panels. • Add more text detail with word spacing, tighter lines, fonts for selected text, quick case changes and adjustable shadow opacity. • Move, align and merge selected layers together, soften shape outlines and draw with an improved brush palette. • Export images more smoothly. • Scroll the color chart without changing your color. • Undo right after opening a project to return to your previous canvas. • Read text more clearly in Range Colors & Fonts.

• Text and image settings have more room on smaller screens, and the keyboard steps aside when you move to the settings. • Text Styles no longer cover the text you're styling. • Spacing and 3D text controls now open expanded. • Typing HEX codes in Recolor is more reliable, and 8-digit codes keep their transparency. • PixelLab project files (.plp), including ones made on Android, open at the right size and position. • Your edits are kept if the app closes right after you import a photo. • Complex 3D text styles are much faster to edit. • New grid guides with center snapping help you line things up. • Photos keep rotating smoothly past vertical, and pinching near an edge no longer stretches them. • PixelLab is now in Simplified Chinese, and the Portuguese translation is improved.

• PixelLab now includes ads to stay free. The new Remove Ads subscription removes them all and unlocks the Pro stickers. • Editing panels for effects, image filters and text styles now scroll instead of covering your design. • Saved images are crisper, and stickers and shapes land exactly where you placed them. • New Stroke option adds an outline to stickers and images. • New 4K export size. • Semi-transparent text outlines keep their transparency. • Layer names are easier to read, and Bezier handles are easier to grab. • Right-to-left languages such as Arabic no longer flip your design. • The fullscreen exit button no longer hides under the status bar. • Adding the same photo again no longer takes up extra storage.

• Style text with your design in view: the selected text stays visible above the editing panel. • Type exact colours as HEX or RGB values. • Gradients can now use more than two colours, plus new diagonal and radial styles. • Locked and hidden layers no longer get in the way when you tap or drag on the canvas. • Tapping anywhere on a text now selects it, including near its top and bottom edges. • Adding a quote takes you straight to the Text tab. • Exported images keep the same text layout at larger output sizes.

Shape image fills now draw one centered, aspect-filled image instead of a repeating pattern. Existing saved projects containing these fills will now render them centered rather than tiled.
