We were using the app. Band member got a new phone number and tried downloading the app on his new phone. Couldn’t get him added and it wouldn’t let me add other members when trying to create another band to remedy the situation. Also, it wouldn’t let be great to have a group chat feature inside the app.
Developer Response Hi JKim91 - I’m sorry you ran into this. The issue you described with adding a band member after they changed phone numbers definitely isn’t how BandRoadie is supposed to work, and I’d really like the opportunity to figure out what happened and get it fixed.BandRoadie has an in-app bug reporting and feature request option specifically for situations like this. You can also contact me directly by email. I personally review the feedback I receive, and bug reports from users are incredibly helpful because they give me a chance to identify and fix problems that I may not otherwise know exist.I just wish you had reached out before leaving a negative review so I could have had the opportunity to help resolve the issue first. And thanks for the group chat suggestion. Feature requests are always welcome too.-TonyBandRoadie

Simple to use and a great way to keep your band organized!
Simple to use and a great way to keep your band organized!
- Setlist sync. Changes now show on all your devices. Setlists refresh when you open them, and you can pull down to refresh.
- Switching accounts. The app no longer shows the previous account's band, and a setlist you can't access says so instead of looking empty.
- Multi-date rehearsals. All dates show again, and extra gig dates have their start times back.
- Phone numbers. They use your band's country format, keep + country codes, and are never cut off.
Also new:
- Faster sign-in, and codes verify automatically
- Pop-ups look the same on phone and web
- Set breaks and pauses are added at the top, and pauses have a duration stepper

Stage plots
- You can add guest musicians to a single stage plot, and drums now abbreviate as DRMS
- A Sound Module shows only its model name in the input list
- Saving a plot without a connection now shows an offline message
Files
- The list shows link counts and swipe hints, and the edit swipe is darker
Dependencies
- Upgraded Firebase, permission_handler, app_links and some minor packages
26.10.23 4d ago
- Aux monitor mixes
- "Mix" is now "Aux" (Aux 1–8).
- A member can select several auxes, for example a stereo pair.
- The member screen shows the updated label.
- The PDF shows "Floor Wedge · Aux 3, 4".
- The data model changed from mix to a mixes list.
- Mixes save as monitor_mixes, and the old single monitor_mix still loads.
- Click category
- Click was added as an off-stage category with Mono DI, Stereo DI, Mono XLR, Stereo XLR and Other sources.
- It has an icon and the abbreviation CLICK.
- It is hidden from the stage layout and diagram, and still appears in the input channel list.
- This part was already in your working tree; I committed it with the rest.
- Wizard: picking Click goes straight to Sound source, and Back returns to the category screen.
- Tests: existing tests were updated to the new shapes, and the stage plot suite passes.

NEW: Stage Plots
Build a stage plot your sound engineer will actually read. Place each member on a snap-to-grid stage, pick their instruments, mics and monitors, set up input channels (including a guided drum setup), and note who supplies mics and stands. Share or print a clean PDF with the stage diagram and an engineer's input list.
Also new
- Sign in on a different device: magic-link emails now include a code you can type in.
- Home dashboard Quick Actions redesigned as an easy-tap tile grid.
- Files: a friendlier empty state that helps you create your first folder.
Fixes and polish
- Setlist durations now add up correctly, with simpler set break and pause display.
- Setlist reorders are no longer lost when you leave the screen right after dragging.
- Editing an income entry in Financials no longer clears its member split.
- Financials: payer and paid-to fields wired correctly for manual expenses; summary header no longer overflows on narrow screens.
- Admins can demote members again without an error.
- The gig availability prompt no longer pops up again mid-session.
- Loads that fail now tell you quickly instead of spinning for 40 seconds.
- Many smaller fixes and stability improvements.
26.10.21 6d ago
- Smoother navigation — tabs now fade in instead of snapping, and screen transitions use a polished fade + slide throughout

26.9.27 Sep 28
What's New
- Recurring rehearsals are working again. Saving a repeating rehearsal no longer fails or hangs, even for a series that runs all year.
- Fewer notifications. A recurring rehearsal or block-out now sends one "Recurring" notification for the whole series instead of one per date.
- Potential rehearsals stay one-off. A rehearsal marked as "potential" can no longer be set to repeat, so tentative dates don't pile up on the calendar.
- Setlist edits no longer clash. If you and a bandmate reorder the same setlist at once, nobody's changes get quietly overwritten. The app reloads the latest version and lets you know.
- Better song lookup. Song Lookup and BPM/key lookup now find songs whose titles use apostrophes or dropped-g spellings, like "Rockin'" and "Rocking."
- Financials are available right away. New bands can open Financials from the Home screen immediately.
- Easier scrolling on web and desktop. You can now click and drag to scroll sideways through horizontal rows with a mouse.
- Easier-to-read text. Secondary text is a lighter grey, so it's easier to read on the dark background.
26.9.24 Sep 24
What's New
• Smoother, snappier feel throughout the app — buttons and cards respond with a nice tap animation, and screens transition more fluidly.
• Loading screens for your dashboard and financials now show a nice preview animation instead of just a spinner, so it feels faster.
• Soundcheck time now saves properly when editing a gig — no more losing that info or getting stuck unable to save.
Fixes
• Fixed an annoying bug where editing any detail on a gig (like the venue or notes) would incorrectly notify your other bands that you're unavailable — that only happens now if the actual date/time changes.
• Fixed a glitch where adding a pause to a setlist could cause the screen to break.
• Fixed an issue on the web app where you could get stuck seeing an outdated version after an update.
26.9.18 Sep 18
• Bands can now set their own currency, instead of everything defaulting to USD
• New currency picker on the band form, organized by region, with 32 individual countries (no more lumped-together groupings like "Eurozone/Bulgaria")
• Selected currency now formats money everywhere it shows up: gig pay, expenses, financial reports/PDFs, and add/edit transaction sheets
• Fixed a few spots that were still hardcoding USD formatting regardless of the band's chosen currency
• Net result: non-US bands see their actual currency's symbol and number formatting, not dollar signs
26.9.16 Sep 17
• We've rebuilt the app from the ground up with a brand-new look and feel - smoother, faster, and easier to use than ever.
• Want to see what BandRoadie can do without setting up your own band first? The Demo Band gives you a ready-to-explore workspace filled with sample gigs, rehearsals, setlists, songs, members, and more. No setup. No commitment. Just jump in and take BandRoadie for a spin.

1.3.36 Jul 21
• Role selection at invite time - Admins can now choose a new member's role (Admin, Band Member, or Contributor) when sending an invite instead of only being able to change it after they join. Defaults to Band Member. Also closed a security gap where any active member — not just admins — could previously create invitations.
• Multi-type song links - Songs can now carry multiple link types (e.g. Spotify, YouTube) with auto-detected icons, instead of being limited to one link per song.
• Swipe to move/copy songs between setlists - Added swipe gestures for moving or copying songs directly between setlists.
• Gig state field - Gigs now have a state field, surfaced via the gig card's location display.
• Financials Add Entry flow - New entry flow for financials, gated to users with the appropriate permission; the financials PDF/screen title now correctly reflects the selected view (Income / Expenses / combined) instead of being hardcoded.
Bug fixes
• Fixed setlist detail screen sometimes appearing empty after loading - root cause was a fragile provider dependency; also added a guard so setlist data doesn't go stale if you switch bands while the screen is open.
• Fixed missing icon constants for the new song link types (follow-up to the multi-type links feature).
• Removed stray emoji from Move/Copy song confirmation messages.
Under the hood
• Consolidated font-size design tokens into a single app-wide source of truth (AppFontSizes).

1.3.35 Jul 17
• Added the ability to delete expenses (admin and member roles)
• Fixed a bug where the "Can view financials" permission wasn't saving for contributors
