Pact: Focus & App Blocker
Block Distractions Mindfully
Only for iPhone
Free · In‑App Purchases
iPhone
Block distracting apps and take control of your screen time. Complete mindful puzzles to unlock, track your progress, and build better phone habits. Start focusing today.
Pact helps you build a healthier relationship with your phone by adding intentional friction to distracting apps.
HOW IT WORKS
Select apps you want to limit. Start a focus session or set usage limits. When you try to open blocked apps, complete a quick puzzle first. The small pause helps you decide: do I really need this right now?
FOCUS SESSIONS
Block distracting apps for 15 minutes to 4 hours. Perfect for deep work, studying, or quality time with family.
USAGE LIMITS
Automatically shield apps after 15 minutes of daily use. Complete a puzzle to unlock 15 more minutes. Difficulty increases with each unlock and resets at midnight.
EARN KEYS
Earn 1 key for every 15 minutes of focus time. Use keys to skip puzzles when you really need access. Build a balance of keys as a reward for staying focused.
WHY PACT?
Unlike harsh blockers that frustrate you, Pact creates a mindful pause. The puzzle isn't punishment—it's a moment to reflect on your intention. Most people find that by the time they finish the puzzle, they no longer want to open the app.
PRIVACY FIRST
Your app choices are protected by Apple's Screen Time framework and never leave your device—we can't see which apps you block or what you do on your phone. No account required. We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the app, and nothing is ever sold or shared.
PACT PRO
Block unlimited apps for free. Upgrade to unlock all session durations, detailed statistics, and support indie development.

Ratings & Reviews

Pact has a new look, and blocking is now free.
• Focus, Limits and Progress each have their own tab, and every tab tells you in a sentence what's happening right now.
• Block as many apps as you like without Pro. Free sessions are now 25 minutes.
• Blocking and daily limits share a single list of guarded apps.
• Breaks are always 15 minutes now, instead of getting longer through the day.
• Your first unlocks start with the easiest puzzle, and a new 6x6 step sits between easy and hard.
• A running session survives the app being closed or restarted.
• Onboarding can be skipped. Pact explains Apple's Screen Time prompt before it appears, and if you decline, it shows you how to turn access on later.
• Settings toggles respond to taps on their labels, and every puzzle cell works with VoiceOver.
