Take turns picking music—without the arguments.
NextUp Music Player makes shared listening simple and fair. Instead of fighting over playlists or hijacking the queue, everyone gets a turn to choose what plays next.
Designed for families, friends, and shared spaces, NextUp Music works with Apple Music to create a calm, intentional way to enjoy music together—at home, in the car, or anywhere people listen side by side.
How it works
• Take turns picking the next song
• Keep music selection fair and predictable
• Stay focused on listening, not negotiating
• Works seamlessly with Apple Music playback
Replay Shield keeps your listening yours
When music is played on repeat—for practice, work, or shared listening—it can overwhelm your Apple Music Replay and recommendations. NextUp includes Replay Shield, which helps keep your personal listening history focused on what you actually enjoy.
This is especially useful for musicians, educators, and anyone who listens to the same track over and over as part of their work.
NextUp doesn’t try to be a DJ or a social network. It’s a small, thoughtful tool for shared moments—built to reduce friction and keep the music flowing.
Created by Stoked Logic, an indie studio focused on warm, human-centered apps that do one thing well. No ads. No noise. Just better shared listening.
