NotesExport Pro is a privacy-first Apple Notes exporter. Notes are read only after you grant macOS permission, processed locally on your Mac, and exported to a folder you choose. The app never automatically uploads your notes or attachments.
The app has no account system, no ads, no analytics SDK, no tracking, and no developer server for note processing. Optional email support opens an editable draft in your own email app; you choose what to share and whether to send it.
Export an entire account, a folder tree, nested folders, or individual notes. Choose the format that fits the job: Markdown for writing archives, PDF or DOCX for sharing, HTML or RTFD for rich notes, TextBundle/TextPack for portable note libraries, and JSON/NDJSON for automation, backup pipelines, search indexes, or AI/document workflows.
What it preserves:
- Folder hierarchy and note organization
- Note titles, creation dates, and modification dates
- Supported attachments and embedded assets
- Local and iCloud Notes content available to Notes.app on this Mac
Resilient partial exports:
NotesExport Pro exports every ready item even when some iCloud content is still downloading, a note is locked, or an attachment is temporarily unavailable. It preserves affected note titles in clearly marked placeholders, writes a local partial-completion report, and lets you retry only unresolved items after Notes finishes syncing or the note is unlocked. Successful exports are not duplicated.
Need help? Use Feedback in the toolbar, Send Feedback in the Help menu, or Contact Support when an export needs attention. You can also copy the support email address for use with webmail.
One purchase includes every export format and option.
