Your hours, on your own clock. • Every hour, shot time and day in a Sway now reads on your phone's clock, wherever your friends are. • In the video, each person's own hour sits in the corner of their picture, with a small flag when your friends are in different countries. • Small fixes.

Your day streak is here. • Shoot at least once a day and your streak grows. A small plant in a winking mug grows with it. • Ten badges from 3 to 30 days live in Badges: tap your streak on the home screen. • The camera's shutter stays at your phone's bottom edge whichever way you turn it sideways. • The Sway screen is tidier: the people pill is gone. • Shared invite links now show the faces of the people in your Sway.

Sway has a new look, and Sways can repeat. • A fresh design: paper, ink and pastels. • Repeat a Sway on the days you pick, every weekday for the gym or Saturdays with the family, and it starts by itself each time. • A Sway's hours can run past midnight, up to 5 AM the next day. • Share a Sway with a QR code or a link. A Sway holds three people, five when anyone in it has Sway+, and then everyone in it watches, saves and shares the video.

Small fixes • Every past Sway now shows on your home screen, not just the latest ones. • The invite banner goes away once a friend has joined your Sway.

Sway+ and small fixes • Watch every Sway video, classic and map, with Sway+. Free accounts get a moving preview of their own video and can unlock it any time. • The video screen shows the preview correctly the first time it opens. • Lighter status bar on dark screens. • Stability fixes.

Your day, hour by hour • A new Sway screen: swipe through the day one hour at a time, everyone's shot stacked like in the video, clips playing the moment you land on them. Drag the rail on the right to jump across the hours. • Clips start instantly: they now stream as a small, fast copy. • Invites live inside the Sway: code, QR and share right where the empty seat is. Flying solo? Say so once and it stays out of the way. • Reactions: hold a photo or clip, pick a face, and the camera turns on you. Your selfie lands on their shot for the whole Sway to see. • Fixes: hours shown in your Sway's own timezone, smoother swipes on Android.

Make a face at it • Reactions: hold a photo or clip, pick a face, and the camera turns on you. Pull that face, snap, and your selfie lands on their shot for the whole Sway to see. • Clips open full screen: tap one in the timeline to watch it big, swipe to close. • Small fixes and polish.

Lights, camera, map! • Clips: hold the shutter to capture 5 seconds of the moment instead of a still. Clips play right in the timeline and in the final video. • Map mode: switch it on when you create a Sway and get a second video that flies your whole day across the map, pin to pin. Everyone can watch it; saving and sharing it is part of Sway+. • Pick more than one video style at once in the video settings. • A photo that failed to upload no longer blocks the whole Sway's video.

A Sway that is already full now tells you so when you try to join, in your own language, instead of failing without explanation. Sway+ Sways seat five people; free Sways seat three.

Invite links and QR codes now open Sway directly. They pointed at an address the app did not recognise, so a tap landed in a browser instead of the join screen. If you do open one without the app installed, the page no longer leaves you waiting.

Invite codes are now six characters, so you can read one out loud instead of spelling out twenty-five. Rebuilt photo viewer: pinch to zoom, double tap, swipe to dismiss. Saving your Sway video to your photo library works again, and sharing to Instagram is fixed. Sway+ now covers keeping your video. Creating, joining and watching are unlimited, and every Sway renders at full quality. A heads-up when your Sway covers hours you will be asleep through. Account deletion emails arrive again, and deleting your account no longer takes your friends' Sways down with it. Fixed screens closing on any horizontal drag on iOS 26.
