Add photos to a passage afterwards from your camera roll. Each one is placed where it was taken, and the passage video shows them as polaroids. Clearer buttons on every card: zoom in, alert, edit where a card has it, then a cross to hide the card. Cards you added yourself show only the red cross that deletes them.

• Follow a boat: followers and supporters now see where she is, her speed, course and wind, always with how long ago it was last updated. • When a passage ends, SV.GOAT tells you it's ready to share with the Community, and you can share it straight from the notification. Turn it off in Notifications settings. • Share passage: the video of your passage is now one tap away on the voyage screen. Make a short film of your route, speed, wind and photos, or a Sail Card, and share it.

• Distress alert: send an alert to the people your boat is shared with. • Emergency View: your boat's battery, the nearest harbours including marinas, and your MMSI and call sign in one place. • The Anchor Guard card now always shows what the anchor alarm sees: DANGER during a drag, and "Not watching · tap to restart" if a watch has stopped. • Storm history keeps recording, even when weather notifications are turned off. • Notification switches only silence notifications: they never stop the app watching your boat, and any alarm you arm always sounds. • Boat data now comes from your GOAT device first, with your phone as the backup. • Bug fixes.

Control your anchor watch from the chartplotter with a GOAT device: drop, set and raise the anchor, silence an alarm and widen the radius right at the helm. Arming, alarms and silencing now reach every phone and tablet on board over the boat network, even without internet. Neighbour-boat and hazard-line warnings are shared across your devices. Bug fixes.

Name and PIN now required at setup; safer anchor alarms (STOP always reachable, phone GPS recovery, re-centre keeps the alarm right); see which device armed the anchor watch; off-screen AIS warnings; speeds in knots everywhere; energy, tank and polar improvements; bug fixes.

What's new in SV.GOAT 2.0.196 • Frozen sensor readings are now greyed with "Last reading … ago", then "No reading" after 24 h. • Card alarms no longer fire or stay on because of a frozen value; they end with "sensor silent". • Frozen values are no longer uploaded to the web dashboard. • Notifications show the card's name. • Fixes and improvements.

What's new in SV.GOAT 2.0.195 • New Water Temp card on General when your boat sends sea temperature. • Water temperature now shows on the web dashboard too. • Sensor Discovery shows real units (°C, kts, degrees) instead of raw values. • Deleting a card from Sensor Discovery now works and stays deleted. • New cards save to the cloud straight away. • iPhone: dialog buttons no longer break words at large text sizes. • Fixes and improvements.

What's new in SV.GOAT 2.0.194 • Emergency Mode: right coast guard, checked numbers, offshore VHF 16 / DSC 70. • Water advice uses your fresh-water tanks; no false "make water now". • Settings shows your GOAT device connection correctly; boat switcher shows when it was last seen. • Radar and AIS fixes. • Reinstalled before 2.0.205? Please check your card alarms. • Fixes and improvements.

What's new in SV.GOAT 2.0.193 • Card alarms can now be deleted from the alarm dialog. • Setting the anchor with this phone's GPS now asks before it stops your GOAT device's anchor watch. • Electrical cards agree with each other; custom cards show the right units (mph, mbar, Ah, kWh and more). • Cards no longer show the previous boat's values after switching boats. • Fixes and improvements.

• Anchorages you add yourself: SV.GOAT now asks after a real anchored stay, and you can add a spot any time — while you're there, or later from your recorded anchor stays. • You can report an anchorage that's wrong, and fix or remove one you added yourself. A spot counts as confirmed only by sailors whose boats actually anchored there. • "Your visits" now counts real visits to an anchorage instead of a made-up number. • New "Data usage" screen under Settings › About & legal: see what SV.GOAT uses on your phone, split into mobile data and Wi-Fi, and what your GOAT device sends and receives — so you can fit both into your data plans. • The Anchor Guard screen was rebuilt around the map. The bottom panel is smaller, panels no longer cover the anchor circle or the side buttons, and a new Move anchor mode lets you nudge the anchor while you can see it. Any alarm brings the controls straight back. • Journey maps in Community no longer cut off the title, and covers now appear for voyages shared automatically by your GOAT device. • Switching to a boat without a GOAT device is much faster: about a second instead of several.

• Your GOAT device can now tell your phone it is watching the anchor. When it can prove it — armed, on the same anchor, with a fresh position — a lost connection shows a quiet notice instead of the siren. If anything at all is uncertain, the alarm still sounds. • Fixed a false "DRAGGING" alert that could stay on screen after a brief loss of signal, on a boat that never moved. • Raising the anchor now always asks first. Two buttons used to do it with no confirmation, and they appeared exactly when the boat was in trouble. • SV.GOAT now checks it is talking to your own GOAT device before it uses it, so on a shared marina network, or near another boat's GOAT device, it can never pick up the wrong boat by mistake. • Polar data collection stops when you are not sailing, instead of leaving a notification up at anchor claiming to record. • Cards that show two things — Position, Wind Speed, Depth, Air Temperature and Wind Angle — are now laid out in two tidy, centred halves instead of being pushed to the edges. • Switching to a boat without a GOAT device is now much faster: about a second instead of several.
