Apple Vision
Step inside the landscapes of legend — immersive films shot on location in the Nordics and beyond, mastered in Apple Immersive Video. New films added regularly.
Every landscape holds a story. Step inside.
How we see nature is shaped by the stories we tell about it. Lokal Lore is a home for immersive films about our relationship with landscape — the folklore, myth, and memory that live in a place.
Each film transports you to the landscape where the lore is rooted: a dark swamp where the Näcken plays his fiddle, canyon hoodoos said to be people turned to stone, ancient forests where trolls were made manifest, and the far north under a sun that never sets. New immersive films are added regularly.
DESIGNED FOR STORYLIVING
You don't just hear the lore — you experience it in context. Stand inside the story's landscape and take in the space without distraction.
SHOT IN THE LANDSCAPE
Filmed on location, in the places the stories belong to — across Sweden, the Nordics, and beyond.
UNHURRIED BY DESIGN
These are slow films. Sit in a quiet forest, beside dark water, or under the midnight sun — and let the place work on you. Unwind, take a mindful break, or simply be somewhere else for a while.
APPLE IMMERSIVE VIDEO
Every film is shot on Blackmagic Ursa Cine Immersive and mastered in Apple Immersive Video. This is the format that makes the folklore feel real and alive.
