Roll or Bust
Farkle Dice, Solo or Online
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Ten thousand points, six dice, and one decision every roll: push your luck or bank it. Free against the computer, 99¢ once to play a friend online. No ads, ever.
Roll or Bust is a fast, clean take on the classic Farkle dice game — play solo against the computer, or online with a friend using a shareable game code.
Playing the computer is free, forever. One 99-cent purchase opens online tables — that's the only thing you can ever buy. No ads, no subscription, no account, no coins, no energy timers. Just dice.
HOW IT PLAYS
Roll six dice and keep the ones that pay. Ones are 100, fives are 50, and three of a kind is a hundred times the face. Every scoring die you keep pushes your turn total higher — and every roll after that risks the whole pile. Roll nothing that scores and you bust, losing everything you hadn't banked. First to ten thousand takes it.
You need 500 in a single turn to get on the board. After that, the only question left is the good one: push, or bank it.
SOLO
A computer opponent that actually plays the odds — it banks when it's ahead and gambles when it's behind. Games run ten to fifteen minutes.
ONLINE WITH A FRIEND — 99¢, ONCE
Open a table, share the six-letter code, and play from anywhere. No sign-up, no friend lists, no matchmaking queue. The table stays open for 24 hours, so a game can take an afternoon or a week. Unlimited tables, bought once, on every device signed into your Apple Account.
NEW TO FARKLE
A guided first turn walks you through roll, keep, score, and bank in about a minute — with the scoring dice marked as you go. Full scoring rules are one screen away, always.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Roll or Bust has been rebuilt from the table up.
• A new look: slate, brass, and heavy ivory dice you can actually read.
• The turn score now wears a ring that warms from brass to red as your pile grows — you can see what you're risking without doing arithmetic.
• Rules and scoring are a real page now, not a wall of text in a popup.
• The guided first turn is six short steps instead of seven long ones, and it marks the dice that pay.
• Win and loss screens show the whole match: best turn, hot dice, busts.
• Online tables tell you when your opponent has gone quiet, and hold your turn if your connection drops.
