This app is a great idea but the follow through is not there yet at all. They only give 15 scans per month but there is almost no pins in the database so you are using your scans to contribute to helping build their database. The searches are slow too and photos used include scrappers.

Thank you for the honest feedback — we really appreciate it.We’re increasing the free tier to 30 AI scans per month in an upcoming update. In addition, free users can already unlock 10 extra scans by watching a short ad if they need more.On authenticity: we don’t place limits on what collectors can track in their own collections — whether official releases, scrappers, or fantasy pins. That said, we agree that clearer labeling is important. We’re actively improving authenticity tags and linking unofficial versions to their official counterparts so collectors have better context and transparency.Pinsdex is still growing, and every update is focused on improving speed, expanding the database, and refining image quality.
