Local & Remote volumes
FastDisk is designed for local drives. If you enable “Allow remote volumes”, you can also test network or cloud-backed locations. Note: results on remote volumes can be affected by caching, sync behavior, and network throughput.
Privacy
No account required. The app runs locally on your Mac and does not send your benchmark results or selected paths to the developer. A temporary test file is created for the benchmark and removed after the test (or when cancelled), when possible.
